the mk38 ( sporter ) is based around the mk38 trap , and as it has been said is back bored and the drop at heel is less than the mk70 , also its ( mk38 ) got invetor plus teague chokes as opposed to std invectors , these are the main differences between the two models.

some people will tell you to use 9s for skeet 8s for sporting and7.5s for trap . i used to swop and change but this just added to the confusion of being a beginner at clays , my advice would be use the 7.5s on all clay shooting and ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY.

you could try using another brand of shells in 28g 7.5s and see if this helps as i had the same problem with a 391 i had , my mates just had an M2 and that will cycle all shells from 32 to 21g , good luck and let us no how you get on .

i would think the greyhound would struggle as in general they hate to be cold or wet and their skin is like tissue papper ,most thick cover would be a danger to their saftey and a lot of them dont like loud bangs , im sure someone will disagree with me but its just my opinion for what its worth.

steve what ever youve done in the past tell them ( coppers ) on the form . its not always what youve done its what you dont own up to on the form , had a freind who has been in the past lets say " a bit of a lad " the police no what hes done but he did not put it all down on the form , he got turned down and told to give it twelve months and re aply he he with all info included and has now held his cert for 3 years without problems .

had a lamber when i first started , top gun and i only lost 20 quid on it when i traded it in 2 years later.

ive see them a few time at different shows , i was told they are on the rare breed list so there probably wont be many lurchers around from this cross , im sure someone must have tried it .but they do look the part .
