  1. Sounds like quite good banter to me. Would depend on the tone though I guess.
  2. Wow what a story, glad to hear you ain't hurt! There is all sorts of **** rolling around in my motor, Might dig the boot and door storage out tomorrow
  3. I'm sure I've seen a few pop up on here. Have a good dig with the search function and you'll turn something up.
  4. Hi and welcome, I spend a fair amount of the year living in Bournemouth. Dorset is a beautiful part of the world!
  5. With things like this I always bank on meeting a normal human type policeman, not one of the robocops that only see things in black & white as is often proposed on here. If you have a reason I bet the majority of copppers couldn't care less about a 4" lockable blade attached to a pair of pliers. If you walk around with a multi-tool on your belt with no excuse/reason I am sure even the most laid back copper would ask a few questions. PS: I wouldn't worry about getting nicked for the next few weeks, every bobby is in East London giving directions to Japanese people.
  6. You'll have a blinder! And how strange, I ate at Gaucho's after too! I thoroughly recommend the Rump cooked rare- Best lump of steak I can remember.
  7. Only in row 10, absolutely cracking seats! I can't get over how good the atmosphere was. Proper shaped females, none of this anorexic malnourished trend that seems to be popular.
  8. I had a good day today, helped by 16x optical zoom. I personally took all of these pictures, I know thats pretty pervy but I just don't give a ****. Enjoy you filthy old men. Full album: http://imgur.com/a/XeCGd A few choice shots:
  9. Thats part of my morning routine, I always check... Also I hope its still there, I'm going to the woman's volleyball tomorrow so I need it to guide my camera lens appropriately!
  10. That looks nasty! Sorry to see that happen to anyone.. Another reason to go synthetic again for my next rifle I guess. Hope the refurb goes well.
  11. I did it, shot a black one... In the fridge waiting for the BBQ tomorrow. It was really quiet tonight, I'm putting that down to the Fox that was sniffing around about 300 yards away when I arrived. Also, I stopped for a zero check with some CCI Stingers, I was surprised with their accuracy after hearing them slagged off on here. 5 shot group at ~75 yards:

  13. Get yerself' a Makro card! Got plenty of crates in reasonably cheap last year with the use of one.
  14. Think I might bite the bullet, so to speak. Watch this space.. PS: It doesn't come with a moderator, do many people shoot without them?

I need to get a breathalyser attached to all my on-line accounts. Some of the things that turned up a few days after a heavy session last year were hilarious... Maybe I'll patent a keyboard that can sense alcohol on your fingertips...

    Which Bike?

Specialised Hard Rock! I had one for a year before it was stolen and can't complain. Great bit of kit that felt made to last.

I brought this whilst drunk on the internet a long while back. I haven't used it and would like to move it on to someone who fancies one of these. Its just the knife, no scabbard or frog included. I'm asking what I paid, £45 posted in the UK.
  18. Chaps... Does any one own a Howa 1500,especially in .223. I'm considering picking up one of these new with a Nikko Sterling 3-12x on it as a package. So please post any horror stories or praise below. Also what sort of price should I be looking at for Rifle + Mounts + Nikko Sterling scope? Cheers.
  19. 30mpg on motorways with a light foot. I made it return something like 11 mpg going to get a curry once. The 2.5 straight 5 lump in the older models is old and inefficient compared to the slightly newer models. I am sure they are much better now.
  20. My old man had the 2.5 TDI for about a year. He loved everything about it except the fuel economy and sluggishness of the autobox. The interior was of great quality and it was a properly imposing motor with fantastic road presence. It ate motorway miles like nothing I have every driven/been driven in. Go for something with more poke than the 2.5 and you won't be disappointed!
  21. Having a look through some old kit and I've found this, I'm not sure of its origin but it feels like its built to last, all the clips and stitching look and feel strong. The three pouches are all connected and individually locked with a standard clip type buckle, there are three belt loops on the back - one behind each pouch. This would make a great shotgun cartridge carrying device with the ability to carry three cartridge types separately. Or even somewhere to put batteries when lamping on foot. This measures 30x20 cm 20 quid posted
  22. Benelli M3 and a C8 Diemaco. Built to be used and abused.
  23. Whenever I fancy it really. Normally I'll take a walk over the fields with my .22 or a shotgun. Very rarely I'll go and shoot 25 clays, and even more rarely I'll take a target out with me and plink with the rimfire. I probably spend less than a tenner a month on ammunition. But the cost of the guns and paraphernalia is far more.
  24. Must have been going mad to kill itself in 24hrs, I've heard stories of cats lasting 2 weeks locked in sheds!
