My Lab is 11 months now and still on beta puppy, she has recently stopped devouring it in seconds unless it has a little bit of something in be it tuna, pasta or my little girls shreddies. I will be looking to change her on to an adult dog food at 12 months and Dr John Platinum has been recommended.

Afternoon all, I have some pheasant eggs in my incubator that are due to hatch any day. I have just found out that they need special crumbs, (I was going to feed them normal chick crumbs). Does anyone know where around Lancashire I might get some, also someone mentioned that turkey crumbs would do, is this the case? And again where would I get them? Thanks for any help, Paul.

I think I have mentioned it before on here but I have found "push gutting" the easiest, cleanest and quickest method. There is a vid on youtube, but basically you just hold the rabbit by its front legs, then start squeezing downwards under its ribs, almost like your wringing out a wet cloth. Keep going downwards then all of a sudden everything comes out of its backside!! Takes about 5 seconds and as I said no mess. Give it a try and let us know if it works for you. Paul.
