I work at 2 clay grounds, and at the end of the shoot, you should see the number of carts left on the floor, Now a couple of comments about "keeping some guy employed" do you not think we have enough to do keeping the traps full and working, or would you rather we stopped the shooting on that stand so we can collect the empties in the cage to ensure "you" don't slip with a loaded gun on them when its wet? It must be harder ensuring the carts don't hit you or your mates than it is just cupping them and putting them in the bin, That said, as the comment says "keeping somebody employed" if you don't mind paying for it!.... Guys, Looking at getting petrol disco as "my" car (my current is a van!) would you recommend it or stay well away? it will be used as a shooting, dog walking car so will not do many miles! looking at a 1996ish car, or should I wait for diesel to come along? Adam

Jo (location?) firstly welcome...... secondly, most (maybe not all) birds (be it game or vermin) are taken with shotguns or air rifles. something like a .223 would be used for larger prey like fox or longer range rabbits (but don't expect to table the rabbit after, there will not be much left!) a good starting point for you would be the club, get some range discipline behind you, get to know what its all about.. Also, get you self down to the local clay shoot, there you will learn the discipline of clay shooting, the main difference between shotguns and rifles is moving targets and static targets (someone will correct me there.....) shotguns are used for moving targets at a closer range, where are rifles (depending on caliber) are used for static targets at possibly longer ranges (notice the careful wording there!) there are many different calibers in both shotgun and rifles, this is the bit that is worth learning! Guys, Where do I start… The first thing to do is plan you install, and ALWAYS put more than you needs in, Cater for things like audio distribution as well as TV and network I would recommend 2 cables for every location 2 for the TV, 2 for the audio, 2 for the network and 2 for the telephone, sounds like a lot, but what is happening in the future? What will be available next? I am in the middle of re-doing my house as I didn’t put enough in! Do it right first time There is a whole host of companies that do the equipment needed, I will give links to these later Firstly, TV distribution: To watch different channels in each room you may require more than one sky box, this starts to get expensive on the monthly subscription But normal TV and set top digital will work out cheaper (although you will require more digi boxes) You will require a distribution box to transmit to each room, you will also require another cat 5/6 cable to run the infrared to enable you to change channels etc Audio: 1 or 2 cat 5/6 cables run to the light switch location then cat 5 or speaker wire to the ceiling speakers. In the light switch location you fit a controller to select source and volume There are now a few muti room audio systems on the market, this enables you to listen to different music (cd/radio/mp3) in different rooms, Network: House the ADSL router in the cabinet and wire out.. Guys N Gals, I have just discovered a title line in the source code of my web site (work web site not a personal one) that was incorrect this is stopping my site appearing when search for... I do cat 5 data cabling, but for some unknown reason the person that build the site for me put in the source title "cata cabling" not "cat 5" I have since changed this but if you search for me in any search engine under "cat 5 Aylesbury" I don't appear! but I am top of the list if you search "cata Aylesbury" How do I get this sorted with the search engines? this includes google, yahoo, and ask, Don't know if I can put the link up, if not mods please remove www.KAW-Services.co.uk Help!
