  4. stay well away from the pheasants (apart from being out of season) he will be counting them for next season.... I would check also about the hares, they might be part of the game shoot! you have to think about the guys on the syndicate paying to shoot this land.. they will be a bit hacked off if some none paying guy is going around shooting the birds/hares they have paid for! this is just advise.... Adam
  5. I would find out who the keeper is, introduce your self, tell him what you want to shoot and when, bear in mind the shooting season, and the fact you are conscious that he has a shoot to run and look after, and even offer to help him, offer him your beating services during the season, and keep him happy! That way he will be no bother to you. Adam
  6. Liam, Do you have land to shoot on? If yes, no problem, as long as its OK for the caliber you have requested! What have you put in for? Adam
  7. Clay shooters are mostly going to be better shots, they shoot an average of 100 clays most Sundays, game shooters shooter only through the game season, I doubt even pigeon shooters shoot as much as clay shooters. But they are all different in their own ways with some needing field craft, some needing good gun and eye movement, and the other needing loads of cash! Adam
  8. Shows how much I know..... but all the same, I wouldn't have claimed.... Adam

    locksmithing

Yep! First thing to do is see how many are in your area... something I told another member the other day! Look in yellow pages, in London there are 30 pages of them all looking for a piece of the action... not easy! I am a locksmith, but it is far from my main work and only brings on 10-15% of my income Adam

    New .223

Guys, Thanks for the replies, I have had a search on the net at both the RWS and the Mannlicher, both look good, But I think I have set my sights on the T3, I just have to wait for the cert to come back now.... Also, as a side... is it worth me selling my howa with mod, or keep the mod ready for the T3 or sell both and buy both? Adam
  22. Right guys n Gals, In the next couple of weeks I going to be in the market for a new .223 to replace the Howa 1500 synthetic that I currently own, the Howa for me is just too heavy to walk the fields with... and so will be up for sale..... or pxed So, for something lighter...
