the van is a W reg 2000 engine replaced, aux bits were moved over and new oil pump turbo replaced and is from the engine now in the car (brought after the engine then found out the turbo had gone!) std small ploom of smoke nothing much oil pump failed fuel and air filters replaced it revs ok when standing... fuel pump was replaced about a month after the engine going in it's really noticeable on the motorway in 5th... put you foot down at about 75mph and nothing happens it will take about a minute on flat roads to creep up to 80mph Adam

Guys and mechanics.... I have an Astra sportive van that had a replacement engine (Isuzu engine) and since installed the van has been sluggish (it struggles to get over 80mph, and is totally usless on hills, I know desiels are bad but this is the sport model that should have 120hp!) we have tried every thing that we can think of to resolve it engine management not replaced and still original gear box not changed timing OK air flow sensor replaced de-catted there are no fault codes showing even during driving Any idea's? You will find mainly 2 camps.... Garmin and tom tom Garmin user's like me will swear by Garmin, Tom tom user's will swear by Tom tom..... but the thing to remember is that they will both do the same thing.. get you there........... Adam

I have a 20g bettinsoli and love it! I have used it over my Browning 525 for game this year, and have had no problems with it what so ever A cracking little gun that I got a good deal on and have been offered more than I paid for it, but it's going no where! Thumbs up from me Adam

Guys, I have the above that does not suit my .22LR shooting needs and would like to swap it for another scope.. something along the lines of 6-24 * 56 (I currently have a an MTC Viper on my HMR that I really like!) Mine has the 1" tube and will be with mounts. It is the Meopta Artemis 2000 and is unmarked! what you got? cheers Adam

Why not support your local gun shop? you would miss it if it closed due to lack of sales and wasn't there! you will only save a few quid in the end with travel etc.... Just my view... Adam

Pop, I would say its a little early for him, concentrate on his training and get it spot on first, I made a mistake with my springer and took him too soon, hes now a very good pet, but not a gun dog, you will have him for the next 10-15 years of working, don't push him too soon..... NTTF will be able to help out on the training front and what should be done Adam

Guys, Against my earlier statement, I have ended up with a cz! straight out of the box the wood was fine, and this left me money to play with for a scope! the the setup is.. CZ American (short heavy barrel) and an MTC viper 8-24 * 56 scope and mod all in for £565 zeroed in and first shot got a bunny! can't be bad! so happy all round! Hi Guys, whats your views or experience of the Savage HMR, I maybe purchasing one tomorrow! its the laminate and looks very nice, but what are they like to own? I think the rifle is quite heavy.. but that can be a plus point! the one i played with today had a 20" barrel, I would want a 16" if they do one, this will be confirmed tomorrow. I had a look at the CZ but the gun looks cr#p in wood, and they don't do a synthetic! I didn't like the Ruger, and I am not sure of the Sako quad (I don't like the idea of the barrel change bit) my one concern is the barrel and action... its silver and could stick out like the sore whatsit...
