if you're in the market for something fancy (read disco 3/4 or newish RR) then go auto, the HDC will have total control, and therefore will work properly
If you're more in the market for something oldschool, then go manual

No, not speeding.......using a mobile whilst entering a trading estate, off main road, listening to a message from a guy at the company I was 30 seconds away from
But it is the easy money option be it this or speeding, too many twots saying stick to the speed limit etc. but most are hypocrites and even a traffic cop sitting with you on an advanced driving test will tell you to 'crack on' and not 'dawdle about' and expect you to drive at the posted speed limits, (or slightly above), irrespective of road type to 'maintain traffic flow'..........there's speeding and there's speeding and there's driving faster than you ought to be whilst being safe with it. Anyhow, I duly accepted I was in the wrong and when he advised I 'have a nice day' I nearly split me molars, why be a ****? I was polite and offerd no resistance to my being nabbed for my 'crime' even when he read me my rights and breathalised me
, surely these guys have better things to do...........
hold the phone! your rights? he arrested you for it?

it's probably just normal (probably quite poor) beer with some water removed, either chemically or by distillation
of course, if you just want something that tastes poor and will put you on your ****, why not just add poteen to beer??

Commanding officer: So, did you get him?
Soldier: Yes, sir.
Commanding officer: Are you sure?
Soldier: Yes, sir.
Commanding officer: How sure?
Soldier: Well, his head is in this bag I got here

guess how we feel when we go over the water "is this money real?" "we don't accept that" "I'll have to ask my supervisor"

Of those 4 people, I would be willing to bet a large amount of money that they were all townies.
I've never had the misfortune of getting in a tussle with a fully grown cow/bullock/bull but I do know how strong a 10 week old calf is, picture it dragging 3 large guys around a shed (didn't like getting injections)
A word of warning to the townies out there
You cannot out run cattle, they are faster and stronger than you could possibly imagine
meddle at your own risk

 i got a golden lab/rottie cross pup recently (to be company for my rottweiler), but i only paid £25 for it from the local pound.
so if anyone is interested in a Labweiler, which will double as a gun dog and a guard dog, i may be interested in letting her go for £1000....
excels at retrieving both birds and wild boar

Why not matt black, then hold a few leafy tree branches over the motor, then spray green over the branches?
Should leave a nice tree / camo pattern
good idea that

You may want to look at SOG and Victorinox. I used to sell multi tools when I had a shop, and the four most popular were, in order of sales, Gerber, Leatherman, Sog and Victorinox. Victorinox was the most expensive but the options were phenomenal.
You could buy one with the usual 7ish blades, right up to one with enough tools to service a Swiss watch or a Space Rocket, and it would still fit in your pocket. Some even had a mini torch. I did in fact sell these mostly to US. Servicemen.
They are all good quality and at that time, they funnily enough, sold in order of price, the cheapest one at that time being the Gerber. If you want to use your multi tool for what it was initially designed for, then keep away from the cheap Chinese versions. Just my opinion, as I have seen these variants twist and break with the first real job they had, something as simple as changing your common household plug.
you needn't worry about me buying a cheapy chinese version, my father has gone through more than enough to put me off. There's one kicking around the house somewhere which has seized on one side, and gone all floppy on t'other. Same deal with all the tools, so yeh, the quality was lousy.
The SOGs are about the same price as the leathermans, So if I was to go for one, I would have to be assured of the after sales support

I think I'm liking the look of the gerber suspension. It's priced sensibly and gets a decent review. There aren't really any decent leathermans in my price bracket. If anyone has any horror stories of the aforementioned, please divulge
