hi, im looking for an adaptor to mount my ns200 nv to my scope, the rubber one supplied dont stay in place 100%. cheers.

after bedding my cz back in after regretably rodding the barrel i cant find any difference in my groups between eley or winnies, eleys are 1 quid cheaper than the winnies per 50 but i find the eley kill **** compared to the winnies also i think i have had a few eley go above the sub sonic output. cheers.

if your adding on your cert then its going to cost you 27 quid unless you are doing one for one. i might be wrong but you have only had your fac a couple of weeks already why not put a few hundred rounds through your .22 first then decide if you want hmr. i would rather gain some experience with the rimmy then add on a .223 or a hornet for fox control.

i got 2 foxes last week on seperate days, both where at around 4pm. a vixen and a cub both within 20yards for the 12g. when im out with the nv i only see the dog foxes and they dont hang around on my shoots.

for years i always kept both eyes open when shooting shotguns as the general rule of thumb but after having my eye dominance checked by basc at a show i now shoot like a rifle shooter closing my left eye upon firing,.. now my hit rate has improved greatly. i cant believe i never tried this before.. my advice is check your eyes, have some lessons and shoot as much as possible.

i have just been denied my open ticket unless i can provide letters of compatance from land owners and alike is this standard oh, southyorkshire dept. cheers. ps. if so, can other open ticket holders sign a letter for me.

its only the first cut on the stomach thats bad, just cut open the rabbit at arms length, shake out the insides and discard, the rest is not bad at all. Hope this helps. Get used to it, dont waste the meat.!!

im the same, had a test done by basc at a show, i tried an eye patch over my left eye to eliminate me pulling my left side of my face over to look down the rib, worked straight away too. All i do now when pigeon shooting is everthing as normal but close my left eye just before i shoot. Works for me..

i put through 50 winnies today and my groups where ****. remmies where way better, also tried cci mini mag copper coated, good groups but very loud compared to subs

if ever you are in my neck of the woods i will swap you a couple of hundred winnies for remmies.

well, i have learnt my lesson i think i couldnt resist but give my .22 barrel a good rodding and clean as ive never done it in 6 months and it looked totally full of crud, it was grouping less than 1/2" at 65 yards perfect with winnies. now its 1" + . how many shots should i expect to run through before the grouping tightens up on a plus though as i tried some remmingtons todays with good results and there 2 quid cheaper than winnies at 6 quid per 100. cheers.

if i where accepted for an open ticket on my rimfires do i still need to submit written permissions upon my renewal in a years time? cheers.

i shoot rabbit every week for the pot with my 12g, i use 5s and 6s only, but all rabbits between 20 and 35 yards all go in the pot! any closer then there fox bait or crow snacks.

cheers. whats the procedre for applying? its it a written letter with the reasons why i need my ticket opened? or is there some pre-printed form?

sorry for hi-jacking the thread.. i am thinking off applying for an open ticket for rimfire only, ive had my fac nearly four years now, my question is, that if i where to apply now, do you still have to produce written permissions on my renewal or do they stay blank. I have 5 big permissions already, but some land that i have submitted for clearance is taking months now and im losing land as its taking too long to process.. cheers.

well, what can i say.. awesome.. just been out for the first time try and i think its great. overall quality seems good, easy to set up and use. picture quality is better than i expected but like others have said, it should be called the ns140 not 200 but right upto 140ish its very good and thats using my ****y tasco ags too The rubber eye piece adaptor could be better, had to apply some washing up liquid to fit to scope but once on no bother at all. I have never been a lamper myself but this has added a whole new dimension of shooting for me, very up close and personal shooting which i like. Its very strange to see the rabbits doing there own thing without a clue your there with them in your sights. i had my ns set up on my .22 rimmy using subs, after shooting one rabbit the one 10 yards from it couldnt give a **** what was happening. I think i must limit my outings as i wont have any rabbits left to shoot come july.. well done nitesite imo great value and quality apart from the rubber add on. cheers 12.
