The one thing to avoid is filling to 190 bar, it depends on the individual gun but the "Sweetspot" might begin as high as 170-180 and stay fairly consistant down to about 90-100, so in other words find your "Sweet spot" and dont waste your time filling above that. When i first got my AA400 i would fill it to max pressure and the initial shots would produce approx 10.8 ft/lb. Before a hunting trip i will check that my gun is in the 160-170 region, i know that my "Sweetspot" is actually a little higher than that, but for shot to shot consistancy thats the area i keep it in.

Got access to a chronograph? then you CAN adjust it yourself! a standard 400/410 is unregulated, therefore it has a power curve, filling to its max of approx 190 bar will produce low power shots, as the pressure drops down into the "Sweet zone" the power will rise. Test you gun with a full charge and a good supply of pellets, your chrono' will tell you the individual "Sweet spot" of your gun, make a note of the pressure reading whilst in this zone. Obviously if the maximum muzzle velocity falls noticably below 12ft/lb adjust in quarter turn increments, do take note that velocity will increase in hot weather.
  6. Excellent tip Bob, or go to your local gun shop and buy a silicon impregnated cloth, should cost about £2-£3.
  7. Absolutely correct, indeed the lack of involvement by the "Official" IRA led to the formation of the provisional IRA. But let us not try to draw comparisons between the IRA and the so-called "Muslim" terrorist.....idealogically there are none.
  8. A simple truth, we've allowed this to happen by our apathetic acceptance of mass immigration, having no control over who enters the country and acceptance of "free speech" to a point where certain factions can chant abuse with impunity while others are penalised for any kind of racist remark. It is still a Christian society and anyone entering it should abide by the laws, if their hatred of our society is so great then I'd be happy for some of my tax money to be spent shipping them out to somewhere they feel happier. It would be the first time in a long while that I would feel good about how my tax contribution was being used. I’m not a fascist or nazi but I do feel that priority should be given to those prepared to accept the way of life on offer here and that the pandering to vicious antisocial elements should be stopped. Perhaps if our benefit system wasn’t so generous we might be seen as less of a soft touch and be less appealing to the scum that flock into the country to live off our backs. Well said O.R, over the weekend we had a group of Asian youths making offensive remarks outside a health centre in Oldham(Surprise surprise..... :< ) it actually made the local news, what these retarded little tossers failed to grasp is that MUSLIMS have been killed in the bombings, i wonder if these ars*holes would have found it so amusing if some of THEIR relatives had been killed?? Here in the North West, and no doubt in other regions, we have groups of Asian Muslims who actually HATE the rest of British society, and regard themselves as Pakistani, Banglahdeshi,ect..........but they regard themselves as British when they want social security payments and health care.... :<
  9. The biggest recruitment aid was Bloody Sunday......
  10. I know what "Regulated" means in the context of airgunning! the Police may use it as well but in the context of ADJUSTING the power.
  11. Can you expand on "Regulated". I have seen alot of people mention owning regulated rifles but I dont know exactly what they are referring too. I understand the term, it is rather self explanatory, but how does one go about regulating a rifle. I own a BSA Springer and an S16 PCP, is the the later regulated from factory? Regards, Axe. By "Regulated" i mean adjusting the power below 12f/p, easy enough on most PCP's, but with a springer it would mean a stripdown, and a replacement or modified spring.
  12. Or a job as a photographer!!
  13. From what i can gather, different police forces use different criteria, it all depends on what part of the country you live in. Some forces will send a report to the CPS if a single test shot goes over 12f/p, another force will allow up to 10% over the limit, but if you have the gun "Regulated" they will not prosecute.
  14. And they usually end up in their sausages....
  15. Nasty old bitch! :< those poor children where only playing a little game with her, dont forget, the poor little mites come from deprived backgrounds, all they need is a little love and understanding........now they will never experience the joys of cashing a giro, or laughing at the magistrate as he imposes an ASBO on them.

  18. What a game! us "Pundits" knew Milan would win, never thought they would be 3-0 up at half-time! so i expected another goal or two for a very comfortable win, only the scousers didn't read the script! As a Man Utd supporter i can only congratulate the "Benefit Fiddlers" all over Istanbul cars will be left on piles of bricks, stereo's will be nicked, phone boxes will be robbed, and pensioners will be mugged!......scousers know how to celebrate!
  19. Yes i would m8, problem is, i sold the gun this morning!! time for me to get hold of a secondhand PCP......
  20. Mint .22 Innova, comes with Beeman peepsight, and moderator. Oil finished stock (Much nicer than the varnish finish.. ) i will throw in a copy(Of the copy!) of the dismantle and adjustment guide. Yours for £125 OR, as above, but fitted with Nikko Sterling 3-9x40 scope instead of peepsight £145 I would prefer a face to face meeting, as i don't want to risk the newly finished stock. i live in the Manchester area. And the downside??......the moderator is a little scruffy! Please either PM or E-mail me. Will part-ex for Mint quality scope,(Must have all instructions) something in the 3-9/12/14x50 or 3-9/12/14 x40 region with adjustable Parallax. or a good single shot PCP with cash adjustment.

  22. All it needs is thousands of protesters to indulge in a mass dumping session outside of the house of commons, that should get the message accross!
  23. Look at it from THIS perspective, middle-aged weirdo living in a high-rise council block starts sleeping and showering with little boys......result? a bloody lynching! Sure, for the time being these are allegations, but the weird one himself has admitted to sleeping with little kids..nothing "Brotherly" "Fatherly" or "Innocent" about that.
  24. From the outlaw Josey Wales, Bounty hunter to Clint Eastwood,(Bounty hunter realises Eastwood has a price on his head)..."Mans gotta make a living" Eastwood,(On the brink of shooting bounty hunter)...."Dyin' aint much of a livin' boy.." CLASSIC!
