  1. That'll be because it was chipped then. Didn't they time the release with COD6 to really hit hardest? I laugh at those! Also those who had the 3 red rings of death - mines an early one and I've not suffered yet. Lucky I guess. I wouldn't pay much more than £80-90 for a second hand one.
  2. It just stopped here in Norwich City Centre but it's laid well- I'm planning a wee jolly this afternoon to site....possibly.

    Right then

I'm commencing "Operation Beefcake" again - Gym 4 or 5 times a week Protein + breakfast first thing Sardines / chicken mid morning Tuna / chicken for lunch Pint of milk and energy bar pre gym Protein after gym Tea Protein before bed Need to lose around 6-8lbs of fat and gain at least that again in muscle for summer. Lots of little meals, high protein diet, very little alcohol, avoid junk food (chicken kebab is alright). I lost some of my size this year and am sitting around 13st4lbs at 5'11". Still have a 32" waist but 30 is the goal with a 42" chest. I ******* love getting back on it.....the burn is my friend!
  4. Hi, I got two of these for Christmas (if only Santa had consulted himself!) so have one for sale. Written by Clarissa Dixon Wright (the remaining "fat lady") and Jonny Scott - "Each chapter gives history and lore, advice on hanging, dressing and carving, and of course, tasty, imaginative recipes that have a refreshing and international feel. The variety of over 130 easy-to-follow recipes from Partridge with Lentils and Pickled Lemons to Salmon Fishcakes made with Gnocchi, mixes classic with modern to create a cookery book for both the amateur and advanced game cook." As new condition. I did Game Paella and Hungarian Burkash (I think) out of my other copy and they were both top drawer. I'm looking for £15 posted please - either cheque or paypal as gift. PM me if interested thanks Tom
  5. You would stand to save yourself some money by driving - 400 mile round trip at an average of 40mpg = 10 gallons = 45.4litres = £48.53 @ 106.9p/litre. See....you'd make a huge saving of £1.47 and see your mate as well!
  6. Aylsham Gun Club - They shoot the first and third Sunday of each month. 50 sporting is £6 for members (£30 per year). First sunday is a comp (informal) taking into consideration your handicap so even those hitting low scores (like myself) are in with a chance. On this Sunday I think it's 35 DTL and 20 sporting. Mid Norfolk - 25p / clay for non members - Wed - Fri, 10-4. Will attend Churchills this month as well which is £15 for 50.
  7. All the makings of a great game pie there
  8. Since making some the other day from scratch it has to be home made custard - however this is a recent addition. Historically - the brown turkey meat. Only bit worth eating - especially the stuff underneath. Or the skin. I could just eat the skin quite happily. Now get on with those pies!
  9. I only like butter when it's melted - the thought of a chunk of it on bread makes me gag a little. However, you melt some with some garlic over some prawns and you've won me over. Strange that, comes from as a child when I was made to work in a dairy farm - father used to churn the butter by dangling me from the beams. Times were hard in the 80's!
  10. I dont get it that easy - much by my own hand though. I told her she can either watch TV or go on the laptop, she cant do both. Unfortunately this works both ways so it's one or the other for me now! Personally I like spending time with mine - so long as she doesn't talk over Future Weapons or whatever I'm watching on Discovery.
  11. Thank god I'm not the only person who thinks this is going to happen. I just hope 28 of 7.5's will do the job or I'm ********. Well, not as ******** as me mate with a .177 BSA Scorpion. I regularly point this out to him!
  12. I prefer a 10oz fillet served blue....Vegan that!
  13. You guys amaze me how you message during programs....I thought I spent too much time on the forum!
  14. Jay - pics are in the pics section.
  15. A few pics from my first morning shooting at Aylsham Shooting Club. thanks to Fat_Jay for the invite as his guest and getting the pics of me in (ahem) action. Next round there for me is the 3rd as well
  16. the problem I now have is - I have better socks I have gloves The coat will be 2 weeks old by that point It'll be the third time out with the gun I've figured that the "S" means it's on safe! The weather may be warmer. Should be able to get at least 10 now then!
  17. Daves is about as hot as I'd go. It's still got a very nice taste on it, just has to be very carefully applied to the meal in question. Encona beats Daves on taste hands down as is still pretty ****** hot - it's the scotch bonnets in it....they are the tastiest chilli around IMO. anything with numbers in the name can jog on!
  18. Has anyone else here tried Daves Insanity or Temporary Insanity hot Sauce? It's the nuts. It even comes with a healthy warning.....a health warning on a hot sauce...incredible! Once you've had some of that Tabasco is like ketchup - even the habanero stuff! So, what's your favourite? I vote for Encona Hot Pepper as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave%27s_Gourmet
