  1. Has anybody used the eley zenith and what's your views on them. Thinking of trying them out if I can find someone with them in stock. Cheers
  2. Yep that's what they cost new. It's like new condition and 700 is a good price Cheers
  3. Hardly used runs very well, comes with a extended exhaust if needed. £700
  4. I don't have that problem I put the money in to buy things and I tell people what they need to pay me for a gun. Saves all the ball ache of people not pulling there weight on work parties ect. I'm just surprised people can't be trusted with money but can be to run the shoot
  5. Bloody hell where is the trust in these syndicates. Think you guys need new guns if you are worried about money disappearing.
  6. Anybody want to swap my tyres Size 265 75 16 Need something smaller must be mud tyres
  7. One product that I have used that is good is quicksilver corrosion guard in a spray tin. It is designed to be used around salt water.
  8. Your shoot sounds good and I'm not saying it isn't. What I'm pointing out Like your nethew did if he didn't have a neighbour releasing poults he would of got very bad returns. Poults hold alot better but they still wander that's why it's called game (keeping)
  9. That's why most shoots around the country who shoot there own birds get 40%Some wander and loose some to predation ect. But all I'm saying is before telling folk to spend money on ex layers tag your birds and get facts. I have got permissions where I can put 50 down and get 100% return and not feed a grain but they wouldn't be my birds. Every time somebody talks about ex layers I think scully will be here soon to tell us about his 60% return.
  10. In most cases if you tag ex layers you will soon find out its a waste of time. But what you said is spot on about putting them down so you have an excuse to feed your neighbours birds over👍
  11. Do you tag your ex layers to see if your shooting your birds?
  12. Well a hammer gun from the early 1900s speaks for it's self really in my eyes a propper game gun. Many folk who mount it will say its short that is and laugh. But they have shot many of game for many years and with it's long barrels and tight choke will bring some cracking birds down. Plus I don't miss much with it👍
  13. Can't get hold of you about the shoot this Saturday. Will give to end of play today then will fill it. Cheers
  14. Just cut slits across the bottom and knock it in or you can just cut hole in
  15. Put them on a car wheel smaller than the base to make it harder for rats
  16. Yep was a good day. Great company, some great shooting. One that springs to mind was a bird shot by Andy the last of the day, All us beaters saw it lift to a height where we said no one will be hitting that. First shot and it was down. Shame about the rain in the afternoon but everyone left with a smile on there face. This shoot isn't the place where you are going to get a big bag but if you want to have an enjoyable day for little more than you pay for pigeon then it's ideal. 👍
  17. Cheers bud, glad you enjoyed the day. Would of liked the rain to stay off but was a good day with a good bunch of like minded folk. Cheers
  18. Iv shot a few racers with rings on, if they drop in the pattern they are getting shot. They are doing damage and you are asked to protect his crop simple.
