I am dissapointed with some well know users of PW replies to mine and others good natured posts .
Water off a ducks back myself as I have been admired and hated by others in my life for a number of reasons .

I have made many mistakes maybe even some you have one highlighted above by yourself but I think there is nowt wrong with polite and well mannered replies to wrong doings by others .
I have been subject to slatting off on PW this week myself but I just have little chuckle to myself and think sad %%%%%.
I think PW can be great place but it amazing to see some of the replies to others says what world we live in.
EG a pertcentage of selfish hypocrical members with a good share of GENINUE NICE members .
Still pleased and pround to be a PW member myself

After all the year I cant belive that redbull has not wrapped up the F1 drivers title .
I for one am not a Alonso fan but for some to say he is not a worthy champion because of the swap of leaders in germany is total rubbish.
If it was not for the red bull team being unable to support one driver which has lead to headache they have got now.
If they lose the drivers title today I think horners head should roll ,as it clear that you can only have one number one driver .
Some may knock schumi actions but his and the teams sole effort to support him 100% and the other driver to play second fiddle is the only way to go IMO.
But I really want Webber to be champion.

Hi again guys,
Ollie (Ferret Master) has said about going to Bidestone clay club (actually in corsham) for the clays. He thinks its £10 for 50 clays.
What does everyone think about that??? They shoot 10-1230 on sunday mornings. Think it would be better organised than me in a field with a box of clays and a trap!
Any views on that???

what is there to enjoy about a fuzzy **** picture of 200 pigeons at most piled into the back of a landrover? i fail to see the enjoyment in that to be honest. and magman has a point, i thought the same as soon as i saw that pic, 550 pigeons would fill that thing to the brim! i often think your just a little bit deluded oth. suppose you will trawl the internet of pics of the most pigeons ever shot in a day and put that up claiming it as your so everyone will kiss your *** as the greatest pigeon shot there ever has been!
And your the bloke who PM me to ask me to take you ferretting

Webber thanks for tthe polite well mannered defence of myself.
He clearly has a problem with the posting and really if he feels that way he should just refrain from posting negtive comments as that is not what I went to all the effort of scanning it from a old picture etc I done it for others to enjoy not knock.
His attitude reads the world over ,but his and others attitudes will not dampen my passion to share my hobby and pleasure with others.

I had a crack at longnetting with a small bag that hopfully nobody will knock
.I love longnetting sure there is ways to kill more rabbits but none as diffcult as long netting .
And to try to do it in a howing gales takes skill and patients,I have nether .
Blow me I dont know I bother as some like to knock members more than take a look at themselfs.

]After some very good days with rain set in and howling gale gave climbing trees a miss today.
Had a go on some maize stubble which I have had alot of 50 plus bags etc,on paper it seems a bad idear to have a go in such wet conditions,but the forcast was for it to clear.
Which it did but all to no avail as despite huge number of birds I think the wind was just to strong for the birds to battle against .
There was no set flightline and with 3 fields not covered they just switched back in massive flocks of 200/300 birds.

i hate to keep banging on about this oth, but i really cannot see how you could accuse anybody of being greedy in regards to pigeon shooting, when you are proud to keep telling us of your record bag of 561 pigeons. just a little bit of greed involved there if you ask me
that is just pure greed in my opinion, as well as a total lack of compassion for the woodpigeon, eh oth?
It seems to me that Benelli montefeltro is rearing his ugly head under a diffrent user name.

The landy went to the good old USA a yank from germany came over to view paid for it.
Returned two days later I collected him from oxford station he drove it back to germany then exported it to the USA in a C17 .

Here is a picture from 7 years ago of my record bag of 561 shot on broadcasted beans.
It all started when a field was broadcasted with beans and heavy rain made it inpossable to plough them in which inturn caused a mega pigeon feast .
I had several 100 pus bags prior to the mega bag the crop failed ,so the farmer reseeded again with beans and all was well but we had a very dry spell after the second seeding causing the ground to crack .
And the birds where sticking there heads down the cracks and pulling the chitted beans out .
This is when I had the mega bag it all started with a early start in late march ,landrover fully loaded 1000 shell on board ,a much younger fitter Merlin .
I arrived early I could drive across the field and it was so dry it never left a mark.
I setup along side the old cannel,you can see to the right.
My back to willows and a cool N/E wind blowing ,I only had a cheap dyed net curtain as camo net.
This was in the days before I had a whirly so setup a standard U shape pattern with boucers either side.
The birds as you can picture poured in for the next 6 hours I only had a cheap old spanish O/U .But I was still rattling the the shells .
It took me another 2 hours for me and Merlin to pickup .
When fully loaded my old stage one V8 CSW was nearly had the front wheels off the ground with the weight of birds .
Sorry but the picture does not do justices to day and the shear amount of birds plus fun I had.

Most forums are free, and while we like them we keep using them, once they change, well we stop.
This is the second shooting forum I use that has made changes to the looks this week, the other one was a change for the worse as well.

Surely its not how the forum is set out that affects the quality.
Its the quality of the forum members that affects the quality of forum.
And its a great bunch IMHO.
