Did you spend to much time thinking about Pigeon Shooting when you should have been concentrating on the decorating B)

Your right steveyg it was hard going but very enjoyable, we had so much movement in the pattern it just didn't make sense, but no one said it was easy. As you said great day with some good banter and a Sunday lunch of Chicken wings and crisps, Oh how we live.

Having read the above you seem to be in a difficult situation, as the policy sucks, have a word with the management and explain the situation with your GF, your relationship with her is as important, to you, as someone with a family.

ack-ack you don't have to accept this, you choose to accept it. Your company should treat everyone equal and they employ either Mother/Father not the family. It sounds from your post that you would rather not accept this, I'm sure if you took leave over someone with a family they would have something to say, if you can live with that without ruining your working relationship go for it.

Have done the DIY many times but have found that if you get the price of your holiday online then go to the travel agents they will 9 times out of 10 try very hard to match it. If having a travel agent gives you that piece of mind. If they cant match it there is nothing lost.
