ive shot pheasants'partridge and hares on the rothwell shoot in north lincs,i use cylinder and quarter choke all the time with 28 gr 7.5s and never had a problem unless ive not given them the required lead.{theres some high birds on there aswell although the hares can,nt get as high !} craig

this time of year they want seeds,they,ve fed on rape leaves first,then clover,then milky barley and now rape seeds.when thats gone it will be wheat and then acorns.rape seed might be small but its well worth the effort to feed on it due to the high fat content. craig

only got 5 miles down the road,both wheel bearings shot,in fact the garage i pulled up in in gretna,he said its a wonder i hadnt lost both wheels !he quoted me 250 for both sides and thats if the stub axle wasnt knackered.so,i could get digs and wait till it was done,or leave it there and come back when it was ready,which means driving home{210 miles}then back next day which is 420 either way.then the garage would prob inflate the price because,with me driving all that way im def gonna pay up.gary,i know why you said its best when someone drives from 3 or 4 hours away because if anything goes wrong,theyre too far away to do anything !!anyway,my solution,i kept the motor and gave the boat to the mechanic,cut my losses and all that ****.anyway gary,i hope your happy and i hope your bad back gets worse,thats prob comeuppance for for all the other people you,ve done. craig

i served my time as a blacksmith at humber graving dock,immingham from 1975 to 1979.in the boiler shop next door they still used the exact same machines as in the film ! they date pre war and if british ship builders wouldnt update them....well we,ve seen what happend,and they all went bust.us blacksmiths made handrail stanchions,when we fitted them on the ship a shipwright had to do part of the job !! so it needed a blacksmith and mate, a shipwright and mate, and a welder and mate !! no wonder it went tits up. craig
