  1. you dont want to lugging eqip you dont have to,your barbour wax is a noisy jacket if stalking prey and you brish a tree or bush it will make a noise plus you dont wanna catch it on anything also bloody hot in summer and heavy to carry, i also use a cammo balaclava under a hat just to make doubly sure i aint spotted! Try and get telescopic poles if you can,if not use nature to give u a hand, branches(already fallen) ditches fences etc. It doesent matter if wot u have aint the best,it will do a job,if it doesnt improvise! hope ths helps somewhat. NCS

  9. thanks NTTF i have read both and am reluctant to get her sprayed as she has shown great potential and also has good breeding lines BUT i do not want to detriment the dog breed by breeding from her. One of the main reasons for buying her was to breed from her but i think i may have to reconsider. Many Thanks NTTF
  10. i need some help,i have been to visit my vet as i suspected somthing was wrong with my pup, shes nearly 12months old and had her first season around 3 months ago and she said that what she is experincing is a phantom pregnancy and may do so evreytime she comes into season for the rest of her life. What i am wondering is will it affect breeding from her in the future and when may be the best time to breed from her?? and will the phantom ones stop if she has a litter? many thanks NCS

  14. Quality, Me and the missus split up last nite. It was either her or the pup........................... well she did ask!
  15. She is making good progress but still under weight, she spent 3 nites at the vets on a drip, and he found the problem, round worm and lots of them poor wee thing, she had been wormed by the breeder but the vet says the tablets are not as potent as the new ones out and if there is lots of pups in a kennel and they get food together out one bowl with the tablets in them then they may not get an equall amount, if you see what i mean. Thanks NCS

  22. Happy new year all,My 16 wk old lab pup has not been well over the last few days she has been sick quite often,i think it was due to a marrow bone she was given, any way i thought she was getting better as she held down porridge at lunch time so i gave her some scrambled eggs at 3 ish and has just coughed them up (6.30)i phoned the breeder and he suggests warm milk but i am not sure if normal milk is ok or should i use baby milk, any other suggestions would be gratefully recieved.NCS
