Anybody else know of the death of sporting artist Mick Cawston,a great loss to the art and fieldsports world. Very Sad

I left Stamford at 6 and got stuck on the road from the M54 to the A5 roundabout for over an hour.left at 4 and drove out with out to much bother.

I did not like to mention names but it is the guy that I knew.

Have not read it in any papers but I think it's a guy from my area,not sure what happened a number of rumors going around but it's a bad job.I picked up behind him on a let day last year and knew of him through the farming world

What you have to remember guys is that the antis are people haters not animal lovers.

After reading that drivel I have never bought SG again, and if I were giving him access to my ground I'd tell him to naff off sharpish with an attitude like that! Rob The thing you all have to rember is that Ed is employed by the Farmer/Farming Companys to clear rabbits and stop crop damage.The shooting is often let out to a syndicate and they are often nothing to do with the farming.On a lot of farms that I deal with there is often friction between Keeper and farm manager over what can be done and when.

Don't think he needs to advertise Farmer,Ed has work all over the place and is a busy guy.And the pictures that go in to the mag Ed has no control over or the captions and I should know because I am the photographer ! And before you ask....No I did not write the captions and they where not my pics on that article I have done this months with the drop nets !

Edward Cook is the son of a Game Keeper and started his business from nothing,and his job is to kill rabbits for farmers and landowners,he is not a sport ferreter he is a pest controller.As for the caption in Sporting Gun Edward would not have written the captions.

We have been on rape stubble today 3 guns started 2.30 picked up by 7.00 picked 109 Very hot,nothing came into to the decoys started with two magnets and some real birds and finished with just a flapper and some birds.None of the birds had been feeding their crops were all empty.

Left eye but shoot from my right shoulder,have to dim my left eye but I get on ok.

That looks good mate,I use a bipod on my Airarms S410 but tend to use my rapid 7 handheld because of the bottle In have not been able to attach it

It works just as well on the pigeon,top bit of gear.

Just give her a rest and then go back to basics,throw a dummy to her left so that she has somthing to go for keep doing just lefts and don't bother with any other hand signals.

Well you have been on the forum for a long time so I respect your views I am only a new boy !

The Whole point is TOTAL freedom of speech comes at a price .......No sponser ........no forum .............Because I can't see alot of shooters paying a subscription charge judging by the small amount of site supporters who have made donations Ive That is true,but if I have set my mind on buying xyz pecker and if the site sponsor does not make it no amount of supressing discussion on this forum will change my mind.I think the site perhaps needs more sponsors so all the balls are not in one court ! And please don't think that I have a problem with Uk Shootwarehouse,I have bought tons of gear from them and they take some beating on price.

I have never bought or received anything from the "sponsor" I have however bought from a competitor and given my opinion on the equipment,no probs(many moons ago I might add). If there is a problem with this I will step down,however if it`s a genuine query there will be no problem,just don`t go down the "they`re stopping it cos theyre getting a bung" road unless you know and can prove otherwise. Lastly wildfowl decoys,Hmmmm as I remember it,and please prove me wrong,any remote controlled etc. decoys are outlawed?? Nobody is talking about bungs just freedom of speech !
