    ProLogic Jacket

PRICE DROP Now £40 posted for a lovely, very warm winter coat. cheers Chris
  2. Selling a ProLogic Jacket. Size XL. It's in a sort of army green, shower-proof, and is basically brand new. Bought earlier this year "just in case", but was never worn. It has 6 pockets on the front. 2 zipped/flapped on the breast. 2 flapped with velcro fasteners at the hips, with 2 hand-warmer pockets behind these. There are 2 internal pockets. 1 for a mobile phone [very small] and 1 large with zipper. There are draw-cords at the waist and at the lower edge. There's a roll-up hood, with draw-cord and wired rim, in the collar. Sleeves have velcro straps to tighten. Full length HD zipper to the front with velcroed storm-flap. It's fully lined with a soft fleece type material and having tried it on [obviously] it's a very very warm jacket. Perfect for those chilly winter days on their way. I'm asking £45 posted for this. Postage is towards a tenner, so a real bargain as it cost almost £70 when bought. Payment is either Bank Transfer or Chq/Cash, and it will be sent on cleared funds etc. NO PAYPAL, thanks. Also advertised elsewhere. Please say yes on here followed by a PM. Thanks. Chris

But you are on the list as I haven't yet heard back from any others. I'll give it 24 hrs max, as I understand people can't just sit on the internet all day. Will be in touch whatever atb Chris

  15. Hi Andi, thanks for the offer. I've looked into the postage cost and that comes out at just over £11 the cheapest. It weighs 3.5kg so a bit on the heavy side. If you can go to £40 posted it's yours, but bear in mind that others have shown interest via PM's . Regards Chris

  19. Having a clear-out of some stuff, so these etchings/pic's have got to go. First off is a copy of a Louis Wain etching, titled "A VERY FISHY STORY". It's framed/mounted and has the dealer stamp and the price label [£65] [and string/fixings] on the reverse. Frame size, 14 1/4" x 18 1/4". Asking £40 posted. Secondly is a pair of fish etchings. These are [indeterminate age] cut out of old books. One is of pike, catfish and two unknown. This is framed/mounted and strung. Frame size, 14 1/2" x 11 5/8". The second one is unframed but mounted, and is of a rudd and a carp of some description. Print size, 4 5/8" x 6 3/8". Asking £20 posted for the pair. Thirdly is a framed/mounted and wire-strung print/etching of a Common Whimbrel. This is also out of an old [indeterminate age] book. Frame size, 9" x 9 3/4". Asking £12 posted. Lastly is a pair of old tools prints. These are cut out of an old brochure, pages one and two, from S.Tyzak and Son Ltd, and are over 70 yrs old. One is of various trowels, the other of various plasterers and small tools. They are both mounted but showing an opposing slight crease down their centres. Print sizes, 7 1/2" x 10". 22. Hi Kent, thanks for the help and advice. Could you explain how and why [in layman's terms] an under-counter built-in freezer uses more power? Also, is it worth getting frost free freezers, are they really worth the extra expense? I can understand the capacity/volume issue, but this is a replacement for two duff items, in an existing kitchen set-up with no possibility of changing any units, and no other room/space to use for another tall unit. This is really a change from one tall F/F, one each of a built in/fully integrated fridge and freezer, to one tall fridge [free-standing] and two fully integrated/built-in freezers. There are no other options, so it comes down to damage [to the wallet] limitation. Thanks for all your help so far, will take it all on board and look at my best options so far. ATB Chris
  23. Thanks for the replies fella's Will be looking at your suggestions clackk, cheers. @ Kent,,,, yes, they are/will be fully integrated. Replacing two old existing ones,,,, one dead, one nearly expired Running costs don't come into it, 'cos adapting the kitchen would cost far more than years of use. Any help with actually sourcing good reasonably priced items will be much appreciated, thanks atb Chris
  24. Hi, need some help from the PW "white-goods" people please Recently had a F/Fzr pack up on me [too old to repair] and have an integrated freezer that hasn't worked for years, and a partnered fridge that is about to go aswell, so.... I've decided to replace the F/F with a tall fridge[free standing] and buy two under-counter integrated freezers. I've looked in the usual well known stores, and on-line, but can't seem to find exactly what I need for the price [read cheap] I'm willing to pay. So does anyone know of any good, reliable on-line places to look for, or anywhere in Kent that does discount appliances ? Thanks in advance Chris ps. must add that these are needed quickly
  25. Sorry fella, not got it fixed yet been away over the weekend and just got back. Popping in to see a mechanic one day this week. Will keep you all informed. Once again,,,, many thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
