I pattern tested 10 gauge home loads a few years ago no 2 shot 1 3/4 Oz with longshot powder through a rem sp10 at 50 yards with open chokes This was the early shot that seemed to have more of the Nipply little bits on the pellets than they do now I have also tested 12g 1oz no 6 and 7 1/2 2 3/4 loads Patterns are really tight and in the 12g exceptionally tight so started putting spreaders in the wads to open up the patterns a bit I cannot find the pictures I took of the results

I have on the Medway Early morning flight there was no water in the creeks on getting there and the wind sock at the micro light airfield limp with no wind showing The water was coming in fast and made more than it should have I found out later the Thames barrier had been closed and the wind had changed further north pushing water up the Medway There was half a dozen fowlers caught out that morning I have a photo of my mate standing on a small bit of island We carried out all the checks that morning prior to going out but still got caught

I've just been into my local scrap dealer and he has a large amount of lino type what sort of price should I pay him for it ? I have not made shot for a few years but did when wheel weights were made from lead What ratio lead to Lino type should I use ? The shot will be used to make game cartridges Any help will be greatly received
