  1. Mine is my username I get confused really easily otherwise
  2. I notice their banner is no longer a top this forum
  3. Yes fella it does state Muntjac and CWD on my .222 I asked for those to be added when I applied for my variation for .308 back last year I have seen places and even know of people willing to take me that do it for a living but I can't really afford to go into it on a major scale such as that and i'm hoping not to have to pay £100+ for a stalk and then poundage for the animal on top especially considering the munty is considered more of a pest than a trophy stalking animal
  4. I know this may be a long shot and/or I may be asking for too much but here goes.... I'm looking for an opportunity to shoot a muntjac. I am not looking to go with one of these stalking outfits who charge the earth for the privilege but more along the lines of a fellow shooter who has permission to shoot such animals on their permitted land. I am of course willing to pay a fee for this, help out with fuel costs etc but I would like to also keep the animal if I get to shoot one. I'm in South Wales but willing to travel a bit but due to costs don't want to drive hundreds of miles if I can help it I have open certificate for my rifle and also insured with BASC. If anyone is in such a position to offer this then please PM me and we can sort something out Thanks for looking guys
  5. Yup, they look like Millet Angle-Loc's  but they look to be the larger 19mm one and if so will fit larger CF bases such as the CZ550, Midland/PH Magnum's If pic deceives me and they are 16mm ones then they will fit things like the CZ527 or the old Brno's especially the 30+ yr old Brno 22LR's so i'm led to believe  I've had a set of Angle-Loc's on my CZ527 since I bought it almost 3 years ago as they can accomodate 26mm body scopes  They grip evenly over the scope so reducing any crimping.

TBH I only sold it as we're moving to a bigger house in the very near future so needed the £££'s When the opportunity arises for me to buy another FAC Air then I will probably seek out another Blueprinted S10 That was my second one I just sold and I love em... If I have a nice little lottery win I may seek out a nice Ripper AR5s though

  11. I'm not witch hunting i'm speaking in general, and as I read it Glensman said he'd been lightly stung(and being overcharged by a £1 on postage isn't exactly being stung now is it) and accepted it as water off a ducks back because he's had a few great deals. My statement was more of a point of not accepting being lightly stung or ripped off - and thats a great margin there, just because you've saved money and had great deals with trustworthy people in the past. After all isn't that what the sales sections of these forums are about
  12. I need all the help I can get
  13. So have I started a "TOLD YOU SO" thread then BTW thanks Apache for finding it for me fella ... there was a bit of confusion as some of the replies are missing
  14. Sorry fella I have to disagree with you there Just because you've had a few great bargains and probably saved yourself a bit of folding doesn't mean you deserve to be ripped off... not just you.. anyone Thieves and scammers should be added to the general licences IMO
  15. You were the guy I was thinking of... IIRC you were slated quite a bit over it :good: Is that the thread Col
  16. Not sure if thats the one because I posted on the thread about the validity of the sale and that one doesn't contain any of my posts Unless mine and other replies were trimmed
  17. Hi fellas... I'm looking for a thread .. it was a sale of a hw100 that was too good to be true selling for something daft like £250, a few of us posted saying buyer beware in so many words and then there were a load of replies saying that the haters were just jealous they missed out.. What stood out to me was the guy who bought never mentioned a word about how good this gun was for the stupid price paid for it... Can anyone find the thread or was it deleted
  18. Have a look at Camskill tyres fella they post to your door for a stupid amount.. something like £4 posted for 4x tyres
  19. I could've sworn you said you never wanted to speak to me again PM's on fella Fiver says this gets a million views :good:
  20. You could use Parcelfarce and not tell them what the package is. Just tell them the dimensions of the box, pack it very well and get the service that gives you the best insurance. IIRC PF 24/48 offers you upto £500 loss claim. If they don't ask whats being carried then you're under no obligation to tell them as its a non licensed item.
  21. Also posting ammunition is different to posting a rifle, ammo has to be transported as Section 5 courier
  22. Yes M8 here http://www.norma.cc/javapage_US2.asp?Lang=2 You can click on define your own bullet and enter weight and BC (if you know it) problem is it only goes up to 600yds but when hunting not many of us go that far
  23. 1" high @ 100yds this will give you Zero @ 175yds 2nd Zero @ 40yds +/- 1" from 15yds - 200 yds 4" drop @ 250yds 9" drop @ 300yds So pretty much aim straight at it out to 200yds
