I can only assume you had it set on lowest mag (3x) ... a 3-9x40 is enough scope for a 22LR

They're in 5L demijohns for now with those little evaporation container things on top that brewers use Come November now i'll decant through cotton or muslin cloth into clean jugs and bottle up (corked) and leave til xmas

Cheers fellas, i'm not 100% but I think this larder fridge had built in circulation I can only forsee one deer at a time being hung in it and it would only be overnight at most. I'm not one for allowing meat to hang for days, don't fancy that I don't do any pheasant shooting but if I do happen to get the 3 or 4 a year that I do I always prepare as soon as I get home

Not 100% sure if gas rams are available for the Supersports, also I wouldn't get either of the springs you mentioned they are crude and they make the rifle pretty much unmanageable. Either get a genuine BSA spring or look to see if you can find a Powerlok F1 spring tuning kit.

Hypothetical question at this point but Is there any reason why a normal domestic Tall Larder Fridge (with all shelves taken out) wouldn't be suitable as a makeshift game larder for pheasants, deer etc

I've got 3 CZ rifles... HMR, 22LR and .222 and when funds allow I will be looking to part ex the PH in .308 for a CZ Laminate or Kevlar very nice rifles IMO and built like tanks

I had to remount to my .222 because I took it off to mount on my .308 but had trouble zeroing can't for the life of me figure out why as its perfectly zeroed on my .222 and the .308 was producing <1" groups with an "Original Mod" 4x32 scope, but a Frontier has been added now so... The only trouble i've had with the Khales is when lamping you need to synchro the lamp and scope to the shot as its very eye relief fussy but that said it will pick up the fox clearly in the ambient glow of the fallout light It's a much better day scope than it is being used at night

Hi ferreter, i've got an old Khales Helia 6x42 on top of my CZ .222 and the picture quality is up there with the S+B, Zeiss etc IMO I recently remounted and re-zeroed and it's literally doing 1/2" groups @100yds Mine is the older style where the #4 ret crosshair moves off centre when you dial in the turrets

For £1500 wing wangs you could be looking at a CZ550 American with enough left over to top it with a nice S&B 8x56 and decent mod, all new

I have a 13-25 Rockmount non-tilt pod here that i'll never use. I bought it for sitting shots when calling foxes but i'm 6'4" and its too short for me. Is this any good to you
