  1. If you didn't pay the £26 variation fee then they will automatically give you the like-for-like 1-4-1 variation so you would've been granted a slot to purchase another B/A 22LR (or S/a 22LR depending on which rifle you sold) :look:
  2. This subject has been asked many times before. Technically yes, you can buy any .22 rimfire, you can also buy any type ie bolt action, semi-auto, straight pull etc BUT... think of it from another angle for a minute, if you buy something other than what you applied for due to a technical error it could be conceived as attempting to defraud or acquire a calibre not in accordance with your licence or your application. In short I think its best to get the slot filled with a .22LR as you initially asked for :look: that way there can be no grey area, no misconception and no investigations to answer to :look:
  3. Same here dropped this morning

  5. I'm good Bob thanks fella... I'll have a look around the few Aldi stores we have in the area and see if I can pick you one up and send it up for you
  6. As for No2 Bob - Aldi's are still selling the spotting scopes if you can find a store with them in, they were £25 but some stores are now selling them for £12.95 .. good enough out to 200yds in the field and cheap enough not to worry about getting knocked about :(

  8. One for sale on the BBS M8 £500
  9. Bump back to the top with a new price Possible house move so need the £££'s
  10. Very reluctant sale Possibly moving house and need the spare £££'s Mk1 S10 .22 JB Blueprinted and Screwcut (Paperwork included) BSA Silencer (slip-on type with grubscrew) 200cc Buddy Bottle (Also sorted by John when Blueprint done) 3 10-shot mags = 2x new type (sorted by John) and 1x Old type JSR 6-24x50IR or Hawke Varmint 6-24x42 + Sportsmatch mounts. JB has tuned this rifle to 32ft/lbs using JSB Exacts and it can put 10 shots inside a 1" circle at 35yds. Its what you come to expect from a Bowkett S10 There are two negative points to this gun. 1. The stock is not an original BSA it is someone's own attempt, a very good one nonetheless and very comfortable to use. For me it shoulders more comfortably than the normal stock. I do not have the original as I bought it like this. 2. The safety doesn't engage, I have been told this could be due to reason one, the stock. It slides back and forth but doesn't stop the trigger firing. According to JB this is a simple fix With me not knowing how I won't take it apart. With these two points in mind I am asking £325 ovno Also I have a 3l 300Bar divers bottle and gauge in test c/w S10/R7 adapter to directly fill buddy bottle £100 ovno FAC rules apply and would prefer FTF. Prepared to deal on both items if sold together I am prepared to post but at buyers cost and will only sell the bottle once the rifle is sold. Some photos from previous owner because my phone won't talk to my computer for some reason :( (Dates are correct )

  13. EB only sells to trade but if you need accessories or help in any way Derek prides himself on his customer service
  14. How many grains and what powder are you using for these 40's FB ??
  15. The rumour is that CCI make all HMR rounds in the same factory. That could well be true but different ammo gives different results in different guns
  16. That would be for the standard 3" synthetic models M8 not the 3.5" Double Magnum Camo
  17. Its not the same area as mine then... totally different area in fact. According to the landowner, I am the only one with permission to lamp and use rimfires and centrefires on his land but there have been few occasions of other people turning up in their 4x4's, shining their lamp around while i'm there **EDITED** to avoid confusion, blame or anything else
  18. I see you're from South Wales... what part may I ask Not that it was me in the fields or that I wish to do so.. The reason I ask is you could be shooting over certain farms that are unofficially known in the area as "Public Farms" the landowner will let just about anyone shoot and people know this and know they don't monitor the farms so people get brave and try their luck. I've had it happen to me on one of my "Public Farms" once or twice, i'm just wondering if we could be in the same area
  19. BKL mounts are the best mounts for the 3/8" dovetails as they clamp evenly from both sides keeping the mounts flat. That said I use Sportsmatch mount and they do cant up slightly but that said once zeroed and paper practised then its fine. Good luck getting hold of a set of BKL's Apparently CZ do their own mounts now that are 3/8" and not 9-11mm
  20. A lot of people recommend the 40gr Hornady BT's when reloading for the .222
  21. I've tried lots of different zeroing methods just for the hell of it and I can only come to the conclusion that they don't work... 35 yards zero and its spot on for 125yds and 40 yds for 100yds.. faff... Best thing to do is place the target at exact 50yds and 1 at exact 100yds..You can either use a rangefinder or a cheaper version is go to B+Q and buy a 100yd builders tape measure (About a tenner) First practice at 50yds... and once you've got an inch at 50yds move to the 100yds target and re-zero.... you won't be a million miles out anyway. Just as an after thought... have you tried different makes of rounds.... again they say they're all made in the same factory, if thats the case why do they perform differently My hummer won't tolerate Remingtons or CCI but doesn't mind S+B's and I can get 3/4" @ 100yds with Hornady's which I can't even do at 50yds with the first two makes
