hi my mk/2 rapid is running at 40.7ft/p = 1071 fp/s useing 16g fx pellets which are jsbs ,they are the better version of aas ,i find them more accurate than bis/mags ,i like most of you guys have tried every pellet going , these are what my lother/w barrel likes ,my early mk/1 running around the same speed seems to hate every pellet there is even at lower speeds.that one has the anshuts barrel ,which i have just replased with bsa barrels which are less pellet fussy .very accurate with the fx 16/g ,have not tried any other pellet so far .i have lots of mates on both the rapid sites and almost everyone uses different pellets ,i have three rapids and they all shoot different pellets ,you just have to find which pellet your barrel likes ,trial and error ,a bit like my spelling atb jazz

hi a hw is as good as it gets for a off the shelf job for fac ,i use one on one off my 40ft plus rapids atb jazz

hi i bought some jack pike boots last year after about two month they were leaking ,after four months you could ring my socks out when i got back from shooting,after six month the sole was comeing off ,so needles to say they are **** atb jazz

the mct will only ajust from 40ft pound down ,the 80ft pound is the air ranger ,and that is set at 80 and does not ajust ,i had the 80ft in 22 and that was not very accurate ,tried every pellet there was , cleaned and polished the barrel which did improve accuracy ,but not a patch on the two 40 plus ft pound rapids i have ,if you get a problem with the daystate it has to go back to the factory at about £150 a pop ,with the rapids you can strip and rebuild it in minutes ,rapid all the way , atb jazz

most shooters these days will use a rangefinder cuts out a lot of quess work , atb jazz

rapid all the way , i have a mk/1 and a mk/2 both 40ft/p both with quick fill in the block ,you can strip an rebuild a rapid in minutes ,try that with a daystate ha ha , atb jazz

brand new theoben rapid 177 24 inch bsa barrel screw cut target crowed to 11 degrees porting is 4 mill taper to 2.75 mill approx the price is £140 collected , may post if anyone is interested ill be at the gun show at Newark Saturday ,pm for mobile no ,thanks jazz

i agree i have had a 80 ft/p air/ranger , the accuracy was terrible and i tried every pellet there was ,shooting 28g daystate at 950,ft/second , i gave up in the end , i now shoot a mk/1 and a mk/2 rapid both 40ft/p at 1065 ft/second with 15.9 jsb,s both guns have bsa barrells and are deadly accurate ,cheers jazz
