  1. The 501 can be bypassed fairly easily iirc. Someone on one of the forums should have a wiring diagram to get back to standard, if not let me know - i still have a boxed new 501 in the shed that has the diagrams with it.
  2. Is it an aftermarket alarm, or the original dodgy Vauxhall 501 system that lives on the back of the glovebox? If it's the 501, they were ****.
  3. If you're down this way at all, I have a Beretta semi that you might be interested in?
  4. Do the Sure Signal things use a key or something to limit user access? I don't fancy the chavs and ****** living next door skanking their goat pr0n through my net connection via 3G.
  5. Have been flying R/c aircraft now for over 25 years - these days fly 1/4 and 1/3rd scale gliders and tug planes. Lots of canoeing Wild camping Camper vanning ('81 Dodge B250 maxi van) Occasional online gamer (PC titles only - I'm not a kiddie konsoler)
  6. Both HW's (100 and 77K) run H&N FTT's.

    Half Life 2 .

As above. You've given away your game to your friend, no way to release it from his account now. Unless he give you login details to his Steam account?
  8. I made one of these at work when I had my Fronty : Wiring from the lights runs into the tube, then through a hole drilled in the centre of the mounting pad. I used 2 30A relays in parallel to fire them up. As for wattage - just make sure the wiring and fusing are specc'ed up accordingly. Current = watts / volts
  9. River cottage one there now, if you fancy it. Not many "great" foody places in the area - I lived there for 7 years and always took the olds further afield.
  10. I'd try getting in there first to the groundsman, let him know that you are still interested, that you are very keen, and has he found the blighter yet that shot at his hay burners? Get in there quickly, otherwise if you just let it dry up with no contact, he'll never want you back. Yes the guy with the hawks might be doing a good job, but he can't fly them at night (I assume!), but you can get up there plenty with a light I guess if the population gets bigger.
  11. Same as OP - just couldn't give a damn about the money grabbing, in-bred Krauts.
  12. Admiral or Flux - any more than £250 and you're being had
  13. Paintball mines always worth a poke : http://www.rap4uk.com/Major-Paintball-Mines-s/2619.htm Especially if you used paint with an indelible dye in them.
  14. Oh dear : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11674725 FAC time quickly I think!
  15. I'd be pretty damned worried about a fishook Did the vet not want to go in and have it out?
  16. I converted mine to a softop to save some weight. Being an N reg, she had the later X20SE engine, which is a bit more powerful and a bit more frugal on the go-go juice. Also meant it had coils all round, which gave better articulation on the back axle. I do miss her, and if I could find her again I'd buy her back for the giggles.
  17. You mean just through higher gearing? All that means is that you're going to rev it more to get the same performance = less mpg. I saw a 12% drop in mpg when I moved to Insa Sahara Turbo's (80/20 off road / on road) on my last motor.
  18. Not exactly bullet proof - I melted 2 in a LWB Best engined Fronty I had was the 3.2V6
  19. Yup - regularly fit 3 spaniels in the back of mine. I've removed back seats too, don't need em.
  20. Mid 2001 was the change over between belt and chain, and also twin OHC 16v (later), rather than SOHC 16v ( earlier). My early 2002 has the chain, my mates late 51 has the belt! Live axles front and rear, so great muddy articulation. The low gearing is there for off road torque, and coupled with the low-range box gives you oodles of grunt from such a wee 4 pot engine to tackle all-sorts.
  21. Been in the past with FTO's, but not had something "sporty" for a while now
  22. have so far this year foraged enough elderflower heads for 60 litres of "champagne", picked 5lbs of cherries, found an amazing stash of plums (8lbs picked and counting), and picked only a pound or two of blackberries so far. Usually wait a little longer for blackberry and elderberry wine making, so need the elders to come on a bit yet. Also chasing lots of hazelnuts at the mo, but the sodding squizzers are eating them faster than I can harvest.
