  1. They should be gelded with a rusty hacksaw blade.
  2. Good to hear your continued success, I have yet to hear anyone not raving about the Night Master 800 IR units I enquired whether the DFA75 software upgrade could be retrospective the answer was no and they have removed the USB port from their current range of products. I have to say this is a bad move they can't expect purchasers to sell their older unit and buy a newer version every few months / years, far better for the company to support customers and build upon their loyalty base. Even an option to return a unit for upgrade would be better than nothing but these days an internet download would not be beyond most owners. What's the body panel compound you use Eddie ?
  3. Like a good number of people I am watching with interest every post which appears relating to the DFA75 and I would like to thank the two Eddies for their info. I am hoping to fit a DFA75 unit onto a S&B 8x56 but I think this may not be possible so although I will try this it looks like a new scope is going to be needed. I have see most owners comments regarding the inboard IR and I am going to purchase a Night Master 800 IR which seems to be the way to going, apparently Night Master are looking at offering a mount which repalces the inboard IR though increasing the weight on the DFA with a double battery 800 IR may not be a good decision. A second release of DFA's is due on the 1st May and these will have a software update related to the menu amongst other things, they have also resolved the tight mounting bracket issue.
  4. I've not had my Pro hunter jacket very long but I have had a couple of pairs of Pro Hunter trousers a while and they are excellent, very warm and up to now not snagged on brambles and they have never leaked. Strangely the trouser sizing is about right but as I said the jacket sizing is very generous by about two sizes, in theory I should need a Eu54 I actually needed an Eu50 and I'm a 42" chest measured over a jumper.
  5. Another vote for Harkila Pro Hunter but watch the sizing they are very generous !!
  6. ....Some of us know LG but I'm saying 'nowt !!
  7. As has already been said every breed of dog has it within them to be sheep worriers, obviously the build of some dogs means they probably would struggle to do much damage however with others the reverse is true. My father-in-law has dealt with dogs who had inflicted horrendous wounds to sheep yet only hours later had in a Jekyll & Hyde fashion reverted back to the obedient "butter wouldn't melt" household pet. Some doting dog owners simply do not want to believe their pampered pooch is a sheep killer however this shouldn't make any difference.
  8. It you have bought the box Tam all is not lost, you will need to buy ANOTHER bargain box try to stay under £100 this time though, then poke a hole in the middle of each box, now here's the clever part put a length of string through each hole and Hey Presto with an accomplice's ear fully "boxed" and the string pulled tight you can actually talk through your iPhone4S (the "S" stands for "string") and since the boxes and string can be taken and used anywhere they truly are mobile phones - SORTED !! I would re-sell on Ebay before any upgrades - you don't want to lose too much money on you purchase.
  9. Alex as others have said it is straightforward and you will manage OK. There is one thing to watch though right at the very end when your figures have gone into the software it looks like your VAT has been submitted - it hasn't - you need to confirm the return. When this happens the system will tell you the date of the next return, if it shows the current quarter you haven't completed properly. That won't sound like a load of ****** when you are actually doing it !! I hope that helps you.
  10. ....Richard the Third, Pony 'n Trap, Barry White, Brad Pitt. I saw the end of the program, I didn't realise that at it's deepest 605ft (?) Loch Lomond is as deep as the North Sea !!
  11. I would recommend Canon compacts, the Ixus and Powershot ranges. They use CCD sensors rather than CMOS for better image quality and their software is pretty straightforward if you aren't really into photography. The Ixus is a very compact version, the 220HS a good mid range camera in stainless steel. The Powershot D10 is waterproof and shockproof and with a 12.1MP almost made for the use you are likely to put it to. If the two quoted are out of your price bracket there are others available in Canon's range of a lower spec which may fit the bill.
  12. Many insurance policies have an initial extra discount for your first year, after which most companies will try to get a follow on using the card you paid with. It is well worth running your details through a comaprison website such as "Confused" or "Compare the Market" you will be surprised the difference it can make especially on extras such as no claims protection. If you experiment on your job description you can see what difference it is making to the premium by asking the system to recalculate, obviously sooner or later you will hit upon an acceptable job title. I reduced me and my wife's car insurance by about £250 but the best saving I made was on house insurance down from over £2,000 to £760 and payable interest free over the year. The previous policy was alway due 28th December so do I feel smugly chuffed at this time of year ? Just a lot !!
  13. Thanks rimfire I have two pairs of Pro Hunter trousers which are excellent and the jacket the the same - superb.
  14. If you use "Proshow Gold" or "Proshow Producer" you can limit copying, the number of times it can be viewed or give it an expiry date.
