  7. I see your point I suppose, I was told with a SA 80 you can fire a single shot and hit a barn door and a kalash will not hit the barn. OK sorry Mr Picky "Are military arms accurate?" Plus the second part of my post (not wanting an argument)
  8. I'm not talking about automatic ones (kalashnikov - Spelling etc etc) but SA80 etc etc. also Do EU / US snipers use similar arms / optics to sporting rifle users?

ZB What he means is he has my ' Beretta Tenknys' and because I was rude to him he is going to melt the stock (that he claims is plastic) but it is really a wooden stock that a grain is painted onto then varnished! (can't remeber the name for it)
  13. You need to get out more sado!!! Oppps sorry you can't.

Count me in for one of those.
  18. Need a A3 flat bed scanner and A3 mono laser printer. Any ideas. PC World 2K
  19. The guy in the Syndicate was out on Friday night watching for what we thought was only the vixen, then out of the hole comes cub number 5. Then just as he was about to go and get the cub, out comes mum. Thats 5 cubs and the vixen in a week, well pleased.
  20. Forgot to add, went out last night to try and pick em up with .243's making sure holes either side of the fence were covered before they moved, just on dusk the vixen came out and ran away (actually wide of us about 200 yards) and ran behind so we could not get a shot off, the cubs did not show themselves. The other lad I was with went out tonight about 2 hours ago, again the vixen ran from the hole about 10pm) but this time the cubs came above ground about 5 mins behind her. She is away from the hole now, she thinks the cubs are still home and I am sure she will be back soon. Thats 4 cubs off and hopefully her soon. The dog that was feeding her was shot 3 weeks ago so she needs to come and go for food.
  21. 6's at less than 10 yards. I texted him back and asked him not to shoot them but it was to late by the time I picked up the text.
  22. Got a lad in the syndicate who is out all the time and shoots loads, got a call from another lad who is running a line of traps to say that we now have a vixen with 3 cubs playing outside a badger sett this morning, he had a 410 on him and sneaked up and got 2 of them but the vixen ran down the hole before he could get a shot off. Do you think the mother will move the last one today? Seem to be about 3 weeks old looking at the photo. He then calls about an hour later to say he has put one out of the wood at the other end of the shoot. Going to be a busy night me thinks!!!!!

    tag heuer

Being a tag heuer owner they are a fantastic piece of kit, if its real it is a bargin at what you are offering it for. I would suggest putting into a trader or is there a watch forum in the UK? Register and post for sale there. Best of luck with the sale and get yourself a nice shotgun.

    RSPB Director

Not the RSPB but the local rag for giving a one sided (edited) view. Below is my email letter to him - Dear Mr Mclean, I write with great concern about your piece in the News Post Leader this week. I would welcome some response from you on why only part of the press release was published. Surely the job of a newspaper reporter is to show a balanced and fair argument? the original press release was related to the Peak District. The link below clearly will be of interest to you. http://www.farmingviews.co.uk/landwriter/p...er.asp?aId=6407 It is a well known fact that 'pigeon racers' are also concerned about raptors taking pigeons in flight, again you failed to mention this. Are they taking the law into their own hands? I am intrigued that you also failed to tell readers that the RSPB shoot foxes and other pest species on land they own and catch and dispatch animals such as stoats and Wiesel's. Do these animal not have the right to "Our most beautiful wild places" You tarnished all shooters with the same brush and make no reference to shooting organisations such as BASC or CA taking a stance and speaking out against illegal persecution.

    RSPB Director

There is a piece in the local free rag on raptors and it quotes Dr Avery as saying - "The skies are owned by no one, but a callous few want to deprive the nation of some of out most charismatic wildlife. the charity blames people who shoot for sport for systematically wiping out the iconic species. Later on the piece also states that thisemost at risk are eagles, peregrine falcons and hen harriers which nest in upland areas that are prime sites for grouse shooting. Has he come out and said this / press release for RSPB or is it just an idiot putting his own spin on it? Would like to know cos I would like to sent this guy an email.
