My be worth having a look at the comb height,they were known to be low in the comb,apart from that they are great guns.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the first stage trigger travel on my 95,it only has a very short travel i took the trigger guard off and it looks like it has a very small torx bit,but not to happy to mess about with it,any info will be appreciated.

I am sixty four next birthday,got a pass when sixty,maybe used it about ten times,its only one for local routes,but like people have said if you have paid into the system use it,i found out just before xmas that you can receive the winter fuel allowence at sixty,i rung the number and yes the guy said you are entitled the the payment of two hundred pounds,how long it will be available is anyones guess.

Like i said we are under merseyside,when i applied for a sgc some eighteen years ago,my wife was summond to the local nick for a interview with the feo,one of the first questions was are you happy with firearms in the house,merseyside adjust the rules to suit themselves,they allways have done.

My wife has a corsa,53 plated,its just done 38 thousand miles,she uses it for work,shopping,etc,its a nice little car for her needs the only thing is the heater is tepid to say the least,i have let the engine tick over till it gets hot,but still the heater puts out warm air only,anyone had the same problems?

You must have got a bad one,with super domes the one i had was very accurate,sold it to a mate for 80 quid with a scope,bad move on my part.

I had one,sold it last year,never seen anything like that mate somethings amiss some were,needs stripping down,i would not use it until you find out whats causing the damage.

A guy had a lanber he had bought from a dealer,he was struggling to hit what i would think was easy targets,i asked him if i could try the gun,when i shoulderd the gun it just didnt feel right.the reason being it was cast for a left hander,the guy was right handed,he bought the gun new months before,i asked him if the dealer had checked if the gun fitted him,his reply was he would soon get used to it dont worry,it beggers belief,some dealers just dont care they want a sale,it helps if you can take someone with you who knows what to look for.

I have a 99s in 177,just bought a hawk 3-9 x40 for it as its gone through two nikko scopes,i bought a hatsan breaker for the garden,so wanted something for that,the optik scopes could well fit the bill for not a lot of money.

A mate has the wincester select,great gun you wont go wrong,the bettinsoli has issues,have had three of them,all three had to have the rebound springs replaced due to one of the barrels miss firing,had one lanber many years ago,it went back after a month as it devolped a crack in the stock,the wincester would be my choice.I believe they are made in Portugal.

I have been looking at optik scopes,i need a scope for a springer just wondering if anyone has one and whats your views,are they any good?

My wife got into conversation with this lady and yes it did happen,when i was at school poppys were on sale,and every pupil was expected to wear one and rightly so

My wife called into a local pub today for a coffee and a chat with a friend,standing at the bar she over heard a lady next to her telling someone that her daughter had gone to school wearing a poppy and her friend had a wrist band on,a teacher told the two children that if they dont remove the poppy and band that they would kept in for detention,as they would offend the muslim students,words fail me,why do we pander to the do gooders like this.

I need a scope for a springer,was thinking of either a bsa or hawk,had a nikko on my 99s,but its gone faulty,so was toying with the idea of trying a different make,any opinions would be appreciated.
