Big boar shot from the high seat at last light The Boar in the larder. Safety talk and brief. Drive 1 very wet and no moose. Dinner. Drive 2 moose everywhere around me but i never fire a shot. The nnext peg. and the peg next to him The 2 found then. More larder. A moose heart. The cow found later on Day3. A coon dog. x2 roe More larder.

Each trip will break down differently but this one was, all transport after the flight, rtn flight inc guns, or gun hire. Translator and hunting permits. all meals on the day of the shoot. upto 28 head on the day, based on 14 hunters. NO trophy fees on the boar.One night in the hotel in paris.

This trip was just over 1K.

Its little different from a driven shoot here. Breakfast, saftey talk, draw pegs and shoot. Difference is most are using rifles which makes the rules a little different when it comes to shooting ground game. Its a lot of fun and after shoting that pig i was shaking like a ******** dog for about 30 seconds. Great fun.

I will be putting together posibly a 1 day hunt and a 2 day hunt next year. Prices are to be set.

total for this trip was £1060 all in except 25 euro tips.

Just about 1K with flights and transport/ translators etc. day price for up to 28 head. final tally was 19 boar 4 fallow 54 shots.

Well the guns are packed. Passports checked and boarding passes printed. I'm absolutley busting to say the least. This time tomorrow i should be clearing customs in paris with a team of guns I am taking driven boar shooting. I am also shooting myself. Sue is coming to try and video the hunt so we should have loads of photos and film to show on our return friday. Its a 1 day hunt allowing us 14 guns around 30 pigs. Thats a big day. Hopefully i should spend plenty on ammo for the 9.3 My 7mm rem mag for Daz and the 9.3 O/U for me. Big guns for a big job. Wish us luck.

Well after a misty start the fog burnt off leaving very bright windless conditions. Not ideal for driving partridge's, however the date was set and so were we. The game crops were very wet and this added to first time flyers never helped things. The guns however were impecable and never shot anything to low or any young pheasants. Sue captured what footage she could. This is the edit of some of the drives. dog walkers and foxes spoilt play a little also hopefully both will get dealt with. Can't wait for next week its my let day and the birds have been flown now, heres hoping for a moderate breeze and overcast skies....
