  1. for those that use eastern sporting, you may have noticed that they are now selling a 9mm garden gun from Italy at £195, have seen quite a few posts in the past of people wanting these, don't know if it's for a specific reason or just the fun factor, ammo is around £10 per 50, even though I already have two 410's, a sxs and o/u from yildiz, am I made for wanting one to play with, lol
  2. well lets think, they banned using mobiles whilst driving and that worked didn't it........
  3. think someone needs a trip to spec savers, as It's not my post, I'm a bloody pest controller and don't have a rat problem thanks....

    Foreign Nurses

so, if your ever laying on a hospital bed dying, and a foreign nurse is all that can save you, you'll tell them it's a joke and you'd rather die??
  5. I'd be worried that she'd take her fingers off in a fenn trap, good old wooden "little nipper" rat traps will catch them just as well, and a lot cheaper
  6. wanna swap it for a bsa superten? compete set up
  7. take one of the stick mounts that come with the go pro, drill 2 to 4 holes in it, cable tie onto a plastic spring clip that you buy in the pound shop go pro chest mount £35 my £1 tool belt and the above saved me £34
  8. shooting pigeons at a farm, the farm yard cats would sit and wait, then rush in and grab as the pigeons hit the deck
  9. looks like it, my first reason for trying an import, was the fact that I wanted to leave it at my woods, and not knowing how secure it would be, I'd would rather loose £70 than £170 secondly I would be happy if it lasted a year, well 20 months and it's still going strong
  10. theres probably hundreds of imported copy types out there, and I'm sure that 99% are ****, I must of been lucky with getting the 1% that works well
  11. maybe that's because you dont have or use both the import was inspected by a "tree feller" who could not find anything bad to say about it, this has all the safety features, yes they all work, no it's not heavy as already stated, both were given the same level of after care, and the husky has failed miserable, I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but it's my findings with my chainsaws
  12. and how did he get an air rifle in the first place, if he was staying here quote; who was described as an inmate of Polmont Young Offenders’ Institution, near Falkirk, Stirlingshire – admitted four charges of assault and one of abusive and threatening behaviour. or is that a holiday camp, do we blame him, or whoever gave/sold him the rifle? a good reason all rifles should be certificate holders only
  13. it's the marmite debate all over again, funnily enough I've just got my husky back, but honestly think the import is better, that post in the telegraph has pointed out a flaw, but as the old saying goes, don't tar everything with the same brush, mine works great, kill switch stops it, brake works great, maybe I was lucky in getting a good one, again, similar to the hatsan debate, most owners got told on here they would blow up in your face
  14. yup, it's a 52cc, the earlier video I posted on this post shows it with the 20" bar it came with, a friend who's work shall remain nameless, gets me bars and chains for free, or at a much reduced price, he got me the 14" bar and chain for my husky, but my husky has the smaller 3/8" cog, seemed a shame to waste it, so fitted it to the import, it does make it a more versatile tool
  15. my 20" widow maker has now been turned into a hybrid, I removed that bar and added a 14" husqvana bar, so now it's only half as dangerous
  16. I think my 20 months use of both chainsaws proves this point, one cost around £90 the other around £140, and the cheaper one is still going strong
  17. here's mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281345101253?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  18. I suppose it's like everything in this life, every item has horror stories, look at the poor old hatsan, they will kill you don't you know!!! quite a few people with horror stories about them, but if you had one, kept it clean and fed it the correct ammo, they worked fine, I'm on my 2nd hatsan and it's an 8 shot and works great but at such a cheap price, it's easier to buy a new item,
  19. had a big debate on this very subject 20 months ago when I bought my woodland plot, I bought a chinese import 20" bar chainsaw, on the woodland forum I got torn to bits, so went and bought a 14" husky, but then decieded to run both and do a review a year later, well I can honestly say the import (pet name the widow maker) is still going strong, starts first pull every time, the husky however is still in for repair for the second time, they both got used for cutting the same stuff, if anything the widow maker got used more, and on bigger trees, if and when it needs repair, I'll simply buy another at £80 (price has come down by £10 since first purchase)
  20. two options 1, man up,buy new gun, tell her it's your money 2, lie through your teeth, buy new gun then say, you borrowed it from a mate
  21. I want to know what you were lapping?

    own land

your correct, and we have caught a few, but most stick to the footpath, we have put up signs, warning people to keep to the footpaths as 24hr shooting/pest control is being carried out, and dogs rushing through may get shot, that seems to work well, we also have warning signs for wild boar and wild bee's, as there's gas guns in the area, that helps too when we aint there
