  1. SWAP :- I've got a Zeiss Diavari z* 3-13x56 original bikini covers and little booklet. Came from an old boy who bought it new... actually from West Germany! he who didn't get out much so in very good condition but no box. Spent its life on a .243 and Talley rings which have left a paint mark but no crimping on the metal. I took it off as soon as I bought the rifle and been sitting for a couple months now - long range scope suits my interests a bit more. PM if youd like Pics
  2. Wanted to show price drop didn't know how to update on the original post on page 2 of 'OTHER' sales INFO:- Also I've found all the MOT's from 2005 on when my dad bought it to prove mileage's (and the original newspaper advert !) - we bought it with 41k on the clock and has a FSH then, my dad was a mechanic and I do all my own work on cars so as said well looked after. Prefer it goes to a shooter therefore Price drop (lower than this and I may as well keep it for my son to bounce over the fields in !) I'm in Farnborough but if I can short out logistics could be Picked up from Malvern (between Hereford and Worcester) I've owned this for 5 years and my dad for 4 years before me, I was planning to keep it until it dies and have had the following work done - new head gasket - valves lapped and new valve stem seals - new timing belt, follower and water pump - new radiator - 4x new shocks - both from CV boots - Just had full service (engine, gearbox, transfer box oil, differentials all with molyslip additive included) Parts alone cost thick end of £450 All done at 105k miles as now done almost 108K - between me and my dad we'd done 80k mile in it and most of that was either M/way or A roads. LPG works fine tough perhaps running a little lean (pops if you boot down in a high gear at low revs) - I get about 22 mpg on LPD so equivalent of 40 (ish) mpg I've wax-oiled it underneath every other year so pretty rust free, no major dents. It is a shoot bus but nothing wants doing Also has Grabber At with 6-7mm of tread and a full size spare that has never touched the ground. I've accumulated a few spares over the years too (just in case) which will be included e.g. exhaust manifold, alternator, thermostat Wife is insisting on a 7 seater so just bought a Shogun Looking for £675 located in Farnborough I would prefer it goes to a shooter so price drop to £575

  5. 2.2 16v, LPG tank is in the boot behind the rear seats - not sure what model.... it is it has aircon so fairly posh I guess. Yes there is an MOT until 20 something of May - for extra cost of MOT (about £40) I can take it through again I'm sure it will pass Also forgot to say had top and bottom ball joints done (both sides) for last MOT also had a new exhaust 2 years ago (£156 for complete system in cat !) and I sprayed it black with high temp paint and its stood up pretty well

  8. I was going to start a similar rant a while back after maskells changed hands I just have not been back since, it does seem gun shops can get away with it more and phrases like 'old school' and 'a character' are used. Its not like a supermarket when you go down the road, the next gun shop can be miles away and sometime you put up with it. More competition might make things a little better
  9. And if 30 mm are medium then I will have the , ta

  17. If it has not got subsonic on the barrel ( like mine) the guy just cut 2 coils from the main spring. Seems to cycle winchester subs ok, not perfect but ok I don't like bipods, I use Shooting sticks made from the garden poles like off you tube. Im a lefty, there's no cast, so suits me
  18. I got one about 3 weeks ago - I like it. accurate enough is a bit noisier than a bolt action but I lamp with it fine. The trigger is heavy with a fair bit of creep, general consensus is to just live with it - messing about can make it go fully auto but apparently some people have success taking about 25% of the cam taking away the creep - I assume lighter spring will take down the pull weight (I wouldnt go too light though). If you were to mess with the trigger be aware there are no parts available. It does need cleaning thoroughly every 100 rounds (mostly the trigger and mags) as it gets very gritty with unburnt powder its an pretty easy job as it takes down very quickly. As a general feel, its a bit old school which I like mine still has a long barrel on it (about 22inch with parker hale) - it was my 1st semi auto so not much comparison but I like it more than the stock 10/22 I've had a go with As said only 3 weeks into it so maybe still in honeymoon period but I do find myself taking it our more often than the HMR these days, I'd probably have another one.
  19. Can I have one of the metal 5 shot thanks
