does fish in the day but better at night.....for cod you want a bit of a lumpy sea i recon and fis using a pennel type rig and nice big baits. Might find your self plauged by pout all night long though and small whiting. Also go in the week otherwise youl have to fight to the death for a decent spot on the beach

If you spend a few hours sitting and watching you will soon pick up where the birds like to sit. As said look for whitewash under trees to see which are being used to roost in

Took these on my phone this morning. Recently harvested maize crop and full of mice holes. Pup is 4 and half months old, but dont want to enter her proper untl 5/6 months old. I showed her one hole that was obviously in use and she was sniffing and digging it out...pausing and sniffing some more then digging aagain. Same with the second hole. I was showing her other holes aswell but some she didnt show intrest in and other she did, so im hoping shes gunna start marking true!! Bear 1 Bear 2

If there was only the one white red stag then its a bit ****. Could have let it bred, then made a bit of money selling stalking days to the forgieners! plenty of white sika stags down my way

wouldnt even think about it. could end up with dead ferrets because of the pig and you would get ****** sideways by the law if you get caught

cheers chaps she just started showing intrest in things last week after i encouraged her to follow a run through cover to the hole. Before this she was a wimp with cover, but now she goes through it fine when on a scent. hoping to tag along sometime soon on a days ratting ut will keep her on the lead for it. Dont like to blow my own trumpet, but when she stands alert like in the photos, i fee las proud as punch to have a dog like her

iv found with airgun shooting that unless i stalked them when they were eating, i had to take a real quick shot when they were one the move and stopped for a few seconds. got to make it count though. bloody good fun aswell, gets the heart going!

Had this fox tonight at dusk. This now one of 4 shot on my beat on the shoot now. Got up at first light sunday to shoot one te farmer saw saturday evening. i saw one but it saw me first and ****** off! This evening, i finished my jobs and stood near the wood i saw the fox at on sunday. Calle for no more than 2 mins and he come charging out of the wood about 150 yards and didnt stop once! Shot him at 7yrds with no 6 32grs. Took my head keepers advice and didnt bother with fox rounds....all you need is good field craft and shoot him at your feet....seems to work for me! This is my first fox with the shotgun, on my own with my own calling, on my first own beat on my first full time keepering job. This evening im a very happy chap. GREAT SUCCESS p.s. sorry photos are ****, was on my phone and i was dead excited so shaking like a muppet
