My hmr drops them on the spot. Somtimes removing a leg or wing with a body shot.

Thanks didn't know they still made these. I found them in a shed on the farm. Was surprised that the cardboard was still in one piece after so long. Will put them back in the gun safe no point shooting them really. They might be worth something in another 30 years.

The boss does sound like a beast of an air gun but cost much more than a .22lr. What is trajectory like? What range do you zero and how may shots per fill do you get.

It would Deffo be easier and cheaper to just buy a cz .222. But like you say it wouldent be anything special. Good luck and plz let us no how it turns out.

I did see that a brand new cz 527 had sold on gunstar a while ago so it must be possible to get them In the uk think it sold for 800 quid. Do you think your custon job would cost more that that? From what I have read most people to for the .20 vartarg over the .22 fire ball. But I guess if you want to use the same bullets as the hornet then it would be no good to you. I wouldent mind a 22 fire ball my self. I have been meaning to get a fox/ vermin gun for a long time but never got round to it. I had a hard look at the hornet but think a fireball would be better.

Honda every time pall. Had loads. Got a Polaris pick up job now which is good for throwing things in the back and its got a kab for when it rains. But it's slow and not as good in the snow/ mud seems to sink easyer rather than guliding accross the top and doesn't have the fun factor.

Yes agreed a Center fire like a 222 is the better tool for the job and this is what I am aiming for. I just want it to be fair. I would like to be able to shoot a fox with my rimfires leagley and crows and magpies leagley if and when I need to is there anything wrong with this. I think this more than enought covers my "need" to have such conditions after all many other people do.
