  1. You only need 125A to run it at the full 475A if you're only using it for light stuff and don't have a whole load of people who may be using shower etc you could easily get more than enough power for anything you could do running off a 62A circuit in your garage
  2. Having to sell my big welder :( just bought it so a little gutted but found out that due to the fact that it draws so much power and we have a guest house it'll be useless for most of the day if people are watching TV's or having a shower etc Gutted to say the least so would like back what I paid for it plus a some of the fuel I wasted so £505 or an offer I can deliver anywhere for fuel cost as it'll fit in my big trailer (padded too) so as long as you have an engine crane or 3 strong people to help lift it out it'll be fine Comes with the big Paraweld water cooler which is near new from the looks of things and also comes with tungstens, shrouds and a beefy foot pedal!
  3. I've got a very basic front bumper for a disco or defender one going for material and consumables cost as I want shot of it. Not the prettiest one I've ever made but its been a pain the **** since I started, never building from box section again, sheet steel is so much nicer to work. It's properly chunky at 5mm and a 10mm mounting plate, two jacking points on it too, will be finished painting it this weekend or at some point next week if its raining so if anyone wants it it'll be £110 or an offer, need it gone as I'm low on space. Painted with red oxide and hammerite Would work better on a defender IMO
  4. 300tdi discovery de-cat pipe in good condition £25 ono In cumbria but will be travelling to middlesborough next week as well as preston
  5. I take it its not actually in coniston then ?
  6. Coniston! ? As in lake district, bit of a trek to find out how to use a winch is it not ? Plenty of how to videos on youtube etc
  7. a few snatch blocks, some trees and away you go simple mechanics have a look on youtube
  8. You can winch yourself backwards with a front facing winch though
  9. I have a tele radio one, no idea on that one though
  10. bumper looks a little low and its a bit too clean ?
  11. just got onto laptop and had a look at his location way too far away!
  12. If you were scrapping and close by I'd probably take a disco or two for the right price

Muscle isn't too much denser, definitely not the 2x that some people claim its actually only 18% more Diet as you say is key though,

if he wants a mix of both I'd look at military workouts using your bodymass, they revolve round running, push ups, pull ups and lifting heavy objects like barrels from time to time

Cant remember tbh been a while since I did physical ed studies, all I do now is hit the gym and stick to old routines I made a few years ago I find it harder to lose the fat than gain the muscle though All depends on the exercise you do as some will burn fat better and some will make muscle, i.e. deadlift vs cross trainer deadlift is all about mass

Fat doesn't turn to muscle! Muscle doesn't turn to fat! Both are separate and cannot transpose/change to one and other, you burn fat and replace it with muscle simple as that I don't do cardio, I go heavy weights low reps and that brings your HR right up! Burns the same amount of fat doing deadlifts/sqauts/bench as you do on a medium run
  18. I severed my tendon a while back and as above the gym work is important! I'm 1/2cm or 1cm difference in diameter IIRC thanks to muscle wastage :( need to build more muscle up which I will do when I get back into the gym properly but for now welding/revision is taking priority as the strength is still great enough
  19. Bonnet is made stupidly heavy with tyre on it, also reduces visibility further! Best place is to mount it on the left side i.e. (WOLF) on the rear door via carrier, inside the back in a wheel arch, on a roll cage if pickup like mine or just on the floor of the rear
  20. had a look and they're £200 excluding VAT, I could build one for you for less than that or if I get a chance I'm happy to make a quick dimensions cad drawing for you to follow
