  1. Drove past field this morning with about 200 munching on this - I'm afraid my inexperience cant tell you what it is but I'm sure someone can
  2. I was with O2 for years but the signal just got worse and worse, they haven't updated anything for years apparently, so I took the plunge and went with EE albeit a little suspicious. I can honestly say that I get signal where ever I go and travel around through out the southeast, bucks, herts, oxon, northants, beds, surrey, Kent, norfolk and Wales quite a lot, I ran both O2 and EE together whilst waiting for the number to be ported, and EE out performed O2 everywhere both on signal and 3G. The 4g signal is great, I get 3G where the other networks don't even get edge. I can get 4g in the unlikeliest of places I couldn't recommend the EE network enough, I own my own company and now can at last make calls in the van without having the embarrassment of not finishing a phone to a call client or supplier.

Fans are working but I will give them a good clean and do what you suggest. Just seems odd that in safe mode it'll stay on all day with no problems, crashing or overheating.

It's a desktop that I built around 5 yrs ago. Machine doesn't stay powered up, completely shuts down so to speak

Why or how would it run in safe mode if hard drive had failed? I'd be surprised if it was this, I started thinking psu or mobo but again I asked myself the same question!
  8. I tried a magnet for the first time during the week, it pulled birds from 400yds out but then when within 60mtrs out they all jinked of, pulled it in and the birds started coming back into the pattern. Then the bouncer started putting them of, pulled that in and just left deeks out and they decoyed even better. Guess each day is different so experiment and if it don't work change it - just like fishing I suppose

Yes it starts up again once crashed, I just push the on button to power it back up, sometimes it asks to boot in safe mode, other times it just goes through the normal windows start up No flashing lights when pressing those keys

No blue screen, just crashes. Could take a pic but all you'll get is a black screen, it's like I've shut it down but without the shutdown process, if that makes sense?

Can someone give me any points as to where to start looking with my pc running windows 7. Runs fine in safe mode but starting windows normally it crashes within say 5 mins. Things I've done so far: Tried to do a system restore but get a catastrophic error Scan in safe mode using trend micro house call but gets so far then hangs on something called CLSID set the start menu so that only windows and avg start, still crashes. Appreciate it's not easy but any points for starters gladly received Thanks
  12. Nope still not working, have you tried photo-bucket then pasting the link into your post?

  14. Do what I did on my Pajero to clear the heater matrix, chuck some mr muscle down the inlet and outlet matrix hoses, leave for 20-30mins, flush THOROUGHLY through top up coolant system and jobs a good-un. After a week or 2 give get some rad flush in there and you should be sorted.

    Partner in labour

And you're worried about a fuel economy. Best get right foot down and good luck
  17. He's a mate and taking the pi$$. . Tuning boxes don't do anything for economy, I have a DTUK box waiting to go on eBay when I get round to it, you can play with the settings as much as you like it won't give you any better economy. I'm not knocking them, they're great bits of kit for the money but don't expect to get your money back from fuel savings
  18. Wouldn't listen to him, last month he was auto electrician With more torque you will drive it harder as it'll go quicker saving nothing but having fun though.
  19. Nothings impossible - is my little saying. I set my business up, after leaving a job 'by reason of compromise' for which I travelled and worked in a lot of different places in the world, with a 7k loan (from parents) earn't sweet FA the first 4-6 months but after 2.5yrs, I went Ltd about 6 months ago, now I turn over on average anywhere from 15 to 10k a month and wouldn't look back or work for anyone else. My business couldnt be further away from what I used to do, I was/have been, a project manager and purchasing manager within the shopfitting industry (its all I've ever done) now I play with poo  and thats a long story Wish I could find someone for 30 quid a day, save me a fortune I'm always on the lookout for occasional labour. Good luck in whatever you choose, just remember Rome wasn't built in a day, never give up and you will succeed
  20. I've had 2 motors fitted, VW Golf and Vaux Signum - both diesels and wouldn't say they saved fuel as such but made a difference on torque as all they do is basically chuck more fuel in the engine. Probably better of with a remap providing you dont have too many miles on the clock.
  21. get a baseball cap and some white trainers - jobs a good-un
  22. Adrian flux, limited mileage policy and I'm 40 something - 250 quid
  23. Adrian Flux, £250 for my 2.8 Pajero but that was only after finding a better price using one of the comparison sites and giving them the option to beat it. Limited mileage policy also helps if its only a 'shooting' bus - so to speak
