    Anyone Vape?

Been vaping since last May, the 9th to be exact and not looked back, get all my stuff from liberty flights and they're good on delivery and returns. I do have a cigar a day but even so, still better than 30 roll ups a day. I don't even like the taste of Rollie's anymore either and feel so much better even if a bit fatter, vaping didn't stop my weight gain

    Tax avoidance

In my opinion, half of this is pure tax jealously by those who aren't self employed or own there business. Yes there are many 'benefits' to running your own business and we all would like to pay a little less tax. I'm sure many people here like myself don't pay N.I or income tax, we pay a flat rate 20% corporation tax on profits, up to £300k from memory, irrespective of the dividends that are paid/drawn and the government pay our N.I. - thanks I don't have a problem with OP point as long as its within the tax laws - its not Chris Moyles fault that this option is available to him. My corporation tax this yr is almost as much as Lidl's - work that one out but whose to blame for this, I don't think its Lidl Those people running cars and claiming its not a perk are living in denial - no insurance, no servicing, no tyres, no road tax in fact, other than 'personal' fuel no running costs at all, the cars changed every 3yrs - so your new car is costing £250 a month - SO WHAT
  4. I purchased this vehicle in December 2012 with loads of unexpected faults, in under a year I have spend nearly £1000 on this old girl - so the new buyer wont be having any problems. Mot till August and taxed till May Work done: New complete head and gasket New water pump New thermostat New radiator New drive belts New bottom pulley Fuel pump seals done New fuel filter Oil and filter change a couple of hundred miles ago New Air filter Transmission oil changed Diff oils changed New rear brake calliper Injectors removed and tested, 2 overhauled New battery (just before I bought her) It has the white dial kit with blue bulbs, not really to my liking but someone else might. EGR valve blanking kit recently fitted. Mid exhaust section replaced the same time as the head was all done. Sunroof all works and doesn't leak Shes in good nick for her age with about 67k showing on the clock, honestly I cant tell you how accurate this is as there is no history with her. They're are few marks here and there but nothing major. Also has the larger 17" wheels from memory, I'll double check this during the week as its being stored at my unit, tyres have plenty of tread as well. I do have the 6th and 7th seats in the loft and these will go with it. This vehicle starts and runs fine absolutely fine now and if it wasn't for my new 4x4 then I'd be keeping her. All the four wheel drive system works faultlessly.. This was my weekend muck about motor so didn't move all week, sometimes not even at the weekends. Tow bar fitted with working electrics, I've towed my caravan, once, to a site about 30mile away, the wife's car was in for MOT and we wanted to get away for the weekend, the Pajero pulled the van with no problems at all. There is also a Haynes manual and spare number plate which will be included within the sale. Things that I know need doing but don't have the time to do: Rear exhaust section blowing - not badly Wheel bearing needs tighten on front drivers side, and is perfectly drivable Drivers side door handle broke a couple of weeks ago Throttle position sensor needs realigning, I adjusted it playing about and never got the chance to put it back to its original setting Looking around £1500 and open to sensible offers
  5. I've had mine for over 3yrs, ex AA and is spot on on, done 150k now and I've done 60k of that with 1 major problem, the steering pump went but can't grumble at that. Mines on 06 plate and is better nick than my 2009 transit, don't wanna start a van wars either. I wouldn't hesitate in having another. Comfy, economical and reliable, done a 1200 mile since last Thursday.
  6. I've had some god results along the Aylesbury Arm, nothing bigger than around 5lb from memory, was around 3yrs ago, but great fun on light gear. There were rumours of a 20lb a few yrs back but our Polish friends have probably decimated stocks since I fished it last
  7. Run my own company in waste water management - I basically play with poo!! looking after sewage treatment plants, pump stations and drainage I don't bite my nails any more
  8. Good point and thanks It's the double cab version
  9. Happy New Yr All Anyone out there with the new ranger and who owns a tape measure? I need to know the dimensions from the back of the cab to the wheel arch, both depth and width so I can see if the dog box I've found will fit, mine doesn't arrive for another week or 2? Appreciate your help Thanks
  10. aladdin challengers have some good reviews, will be getting one myself after xmas. Get yourself a good soup flask, makes a change from boring old sarnies
  11. Buying any old 4x4 for around your budget will be full of problems, so as long as you budget for cost price plus 100% and lots of headaches/man hours to put these things right then you'll be fine. I bought Paj a yr ago and it's cost just as much too put it right than it did to buy it. All I will say is buyer beware and do your homework, the pocuk is full of useful info and trust me you're going to need it lol Mines for sale as of early jan if you're interested! With pretty much everything put right that goes wrong
  12. Theres no immediate rush so to speak, just trying to fathom it all out as sat watching Saturday night tv looking hmrc's website was getting a tad tedious so thought I'd on here - you never know your luck
  13. I did consider contract hire but was put it of by the potential 'fines' if the dealer considers anything other than far and wear to be payable and the restrictions on the mileage. Its a bit of a minefield, this rate I'll stick with me 23yr old Paj!
  14. Thanks for the advice gents and lady of course, so in effect the rental becomes a cost of sales and is deducted from gross profit? Think I will wait until my accountants back in the office
  15. Thanks for this but what does it mean in lay men's terms? And yes at the end of lease it will be owned by business or traded in for a new one I'm more confused now than before
  16. Gents I'm looking to purchase a new L200 on business finance lease deal, I'm vat registered, I don't quite understand the 100% taxable part, the vehicle is only for business? Does this mean that I can offset the monthly repayments against my tax bill, I'm ltd so it's corporation tax, or does this mean that taxable profits would reduce by X amount, I'm completely confused with this and no matter how many times I google it I can't find an easy answer! If my tax bill was say 10k and the vehicle rentals were 4k is my tax reduced to 6k or would I just not pay 20% tax on the 4k? My accountants away at the moment so I'd thought I'd ask you guys here for some advice. Thanks Aaz
  17. In answer to the OP, take her out and enjoy your day BUT don't forget your lead and DON'T be embarrassed to put her on it if the need arises, just explain to the keeper your situation - he may be able to offer guidance if its needed. I'm of the vane that if my dog had a few of season of beating under its belt then I'd have no concerns at all of picking up. Its something thats happened recently, I'm now picking up more and more, I wont send my dog for birds that can be hand picked, its in cover with a winged bird that the ESS comes into its own, I trust my dog and if out of sight I rarely pip her back cause I know shes doing what shes being trained to do - hunt and doesn't disappoint. I also have no qualms at all about sending her after a runner thats what I'm/we are there for and injured birds are our main concern, if she gets a bad habit or 2 it doesn't take long to correct them
  18. i have the pro hunters from harkila and they're great, keep your eyes open on the bay and you'll grab a bargain - mine were 150, so only 50 quid over your budget. I also have the woodcock jacket, not field tested yet but has some great reviews so I'd think the trousers would be the same, plus its Seeland the little sister of Harkila
  19. I have a new pair of muck and whilst comfy when on albeit a tight fit around the top, which I'm hoping will give with wear, they're an absolute buggar to get of at the end of the day. Wish I'd bought boots with a zip and strap now but I'll persevere
  20. I wouldn't be adverse to any increases on the current price, as its cheap as chips now. I used to fish 4 rods which cost in excess of 50 quid a year so at 100 pound for 5yrs and unlimited to any amount of guns it's a bargain in my mind
  21. Yes they can become week, have a look on aaoc forum for tips, helpful bunch and a good place to find spares
  22. Nout grown amongst it, walked to where they were feeding and there wasn't any ungerminated seeds or anything else other than my pic. Perhaps just plucking the newly sprouted shoots.
