  3. Another Diskworld fan and the horse is called Binkey No L
  4. If your in close ie a barn or sneaking around in a wood then 10 ft/lb will do for shooting upto 15 yards.
  5. Ah right Im 6'2" so I went for a lankey ******** gun have fun with with what ever gun you chose glad to help. shoot safe.
  6. The Tomahawk is an exelent rifle for rabbiting and normal range pigeon, maggie and crow shooting. I added the long BBMF silencer and a 3-9*50 scope to the setup it works bloddy well if abit on the heavy side. They are alot of fun to shoot and very accurate once you have practiced abit. Learn the trajectory, the recoill action and how to ease the saftey off quietly.
  7. Webleys are solid guns. My uncle makes sporting gunsin the states, he says most of the guns he works with are webleys or webley clones so they must be doing something right. I use a Webley Tomahawk and Webley sport both super accurate and robust.
  8. Got my Webley Tomahawk after reading a review in airgunner they said it was good for lanky shooters. I know the reviewer always says the guns he reviews are exelent but it is posable to filter the info from the spiel.
  9. British Army ear defenders are just the job. Small, light and designed to muffle gunshot.
  10. Got the inspiration from a topic called Knives, a few people gave sugestions on good cheap knives for all uses. So could you guys post info on good cost effective kit and maybe stuff too keep clear of.
  11. Thats a good one Red. I've got one for you. I was looking at a web site that ran online IQ tests and it had a few stats. It turns out that some scientists that had been training a gorilla to study primate inteligence had given said gorilla an IQ test and it scored in the mid 80s George "dubya" Bush only got 5 points more and is still in the below average IQ level.

  16. I shoot with an air rifle and if one of my mates asks me why I get them on my target range, stick the gun in there hand and give them a few paper targets to shoot. It usually takes about 5mins to convince them that shooting is better than being a Soft Lad.
  17. Evry body knows you never read the instructions, if you were meant to they wouldent all be in japanise.
  18. Pigeons, doves, magpies, crows (hooded & carrion), Rooks, jays, squirrels and rabbits are the only things that should be shot with an air rifle. Shooting song birds is considered VERY bad form.
  19. If the rifle is new and your first then its you thats the problem and the only cure is practice, practice and more practice. Learn the rifle its quirks and functions. I use air rifles and when I get a new one I spend hours just wad cutting until I can shoot 9 out of 10 in a 40mm grouping at 40 yards. After sime time you will become so comfortable with the rifle that shooting it will become instinctive.
  20. Span. One way to tell if a silencer is working well is to get a friend to stand down range, well behind a baracade and fire past him. If the silencer is working well then he should only hear the wwzzzip sound of the pellet passing and no muzzle crack.
