Hi Dan, I use Advocate on my lot and also had concerns over ticks,asked my vet about a tick treatment to use alongside,and he told me that it is also a tick treatment as well,advertised in the US market it is classed as a tick treatment,but because of our licencing laws it was not allowed to be listed on UK packets. hope this helps as the flea treatments are not the cheapest things to buy!!.

Sorry to hijack an oldish topic,but what are your views on the leather 'shooting boots'?, I am looking at both rubber wellie and leather options,as I wear the bright yellow Dunlop Wellie's for work and to honest I am sick of the site of them!.so looking for something different.

Hi can anybody tell me the meaning of the grades of stocks when looking at shotguns they give a wood grade of 1 through to 5, is 1 poor quality cheapish finish and 5 being the dogs nads,or it it the other way round?. Thanks. Cliff
