  8. Yes I am a member of the wcss that's how I've been lucky enough to have the chance of getting her. she's been a long time in planning, I have selftrained my 3 WCS with success of sorts. Just after a little help and advice when she is ready for a structured/formal education. I am planning on spending most of the summer/autumn in fun mode with a little sit and steadiness when she's ready.
  9. Afternoon all. I've bitten the bullet at last and got myself a Clumber Pup (I've been smitten since I watched a demo at the CLA Gamefair a few years ago). 10. Just taken of Kent Police website..Firearms licences - apply today IMPROVEMENTS TO FIREARMS LICENSING Kent Police has introduced a range of measures to improve the processing of Firearms Licensing applications. This has included: investment in new staff changes in the ways licensing requests are processed increased decision making capacity additional training for staff development of new technology development of online applications and payments Both Firearms Certificates and Shot Gun Certificates are now being processed faster. We have reduced renewals processing time and while Temporary Licences remain, we aim to reduce the need for these as quickly as possible. We also aim to start the process of introducing online forms for a number of transactions in the first half of 2017. We continue to work with national bodies to bring the grant and renewal process online. A new Firearms Licensing Advisory Group (FLAG) has been formed to help us continue to improve the service we provide in the future. Volunteer members are from the shooting community and meet quarterly to both review changes we are introducing and provide feedback to the senior management team. If you would like to get involved in the FLAG contact: flag@kent.pnn.police.uk
  11. It is an addition to help against fraud and trafficking of minors. Which although a pain in the €&$% is understandable. And also with it being a 1st passport issue next time it will no doubt be a straight forward renew.
  12. Davyo, Mel has hit the nail firmly on the head with his words. It will naturally being playing on your mind make sure you talk to your loved ones about your memories of you and your mate, from all the daft stuff to the falling outs. It is a difficult time for you and your family but you will get throough it. Cliff
  13. We had over 48hr wait for our BT Internet to be switched on when we moved from sky, although we didn't take the tv package.
  14. Take every personal precaution you can when dealing with Abestos as the the aftermath is totally devastating, my father as an apprentice in the 60s worked on the Kodax factory sweeping up the dust from the roof fitting, he passed away at 46 just after celebrating his and Mum's 25 wedding anniversary. He's been gone 25 years this year.
  15. Deep Sea Diver coming up 20yrs,
  16. Chaos reigns supreme here in Kent M2 was blocked London bound just before A249 Detling Hill which is the connecting road to the M20 Coast and the West, French UK border check appear to be 'working to rule' Saturday night had only 1 french official on shift!, other ports around the South Coast appear to be unaffected Newhaven reported no delaysuch. As said in other posts it's boiling down to the French attempting to be as awkward as possible...!.
  17. OSMO not the cheapest option but it is brilliant stuff.

  20. Morning all, Any of you know where I can get hold of some replacement poles,I was looking at 6mm 1.5 or 2mtr long glassfibre rods but it appears that my Google search is throwing up bulk buy stock only for some reason!. Cheers for any advice,
  21. +1 for the Anthony Riches series excellent read.also Jack Reacher novels aren't to bad.
  22. Well said OB, Myself and my Son both attended the show yesterday and I wholeheartedly agree with you. Yes the show wasn't on the scale of the now defunct CLA(I think we need to move on from comparing to what was!). Nice to see that there was no one trying to sell me a hot tub, swimming pool. It appeared to me that no stall holder had any out and out discounts on "The branded names" but if they have had to pay through the nose for a pitch why would want to lose more money than necessary. I personally enjoyed watching the scurries and gundog demonstrations and poking my nose into the cooking demos as well.
  23. Big Bird, We have a Spanish lad staying with us and I've just asked him what their role is and he just told me that they are used on his family farm as herding dogs for cattle and sheep, when I asked him about using as a gundog he shrugged his shoulders and laughed! (Sorry it's not really a lot of help).
