  1. Amazon do a range of ski goggles rayzor very reasonable and a fairly good style range better than spending £££ on a named pair.I know the resort's I have been to in France and Austria it is compulsory for children to wear a helmet which is all included in the hire of the equipment. Would also say at least 2-3 pairs of socks think spare drying lost after all it is a school trip! ;-). Matalan did do a range of skiwear jackets and bits Bob's. And most of all I hope he has a great time.
  2. Yes my 3 Spaniels love to have the Hoover and even the hair dryer put over them,to such an extent they queue up,the noise has never disturb them and they quite happily sit their until they have all had a go!. :-)
  3. Awful things I don't like travelling in them,I have used them quite a few times over the years, not to bad here in the UK and Europe as the safety standards and the standard of the pilots are extremely high.(not that we haven't lost a few these past few years) But have been in a couple in Africa, that have decided that they didn't like flying and preferred plummeting to the ground or not wanting to take off completey and trim a few treetops then crash with panache!. So when I win the Euro millions I'm going for a chauffeur and limo to get me to my shooting lodge up North.....!
  4. www.barbour.com/counterfeit-education have a look at this page from Barbour.
  5. Cheers Wymberley I'll give them a call,I had forgotten about bushwear.
  6. Hi, I am looking at treating myself to a pair of Harkila field trial trousers,my question is I am a 34"waist and a stumpy 29" leg,the info I have read online has mentioned that the leg length is adjustable how much is this adjustment? and do the waist sizings come up on the slim side or on more generous side?. I am asking as I will have to get them online as I can't seem to find a stockists local to me. Cheers for any info
  7. Morning PWs, Just thought I'd pass on something that has happened to me regarding my Shooting times postal subscription,I took up the free offer of an electronic edition being sent to my kindle handy for me as I work away and get my weekly read while away but I have just had an £9,99 charge on my bank account for an Amazon purchase, but when looking on my Amazon account no £9,99 debit showing. Long and short I have been in contact with Amazon and they have credited the money back.and electronic edition cancelled!.(bit hacked off as not had any notification about a charge being put in place) So just beaware if you have an odd charge from Amazon and you can't find what it was for it might be for an electronic edition. Cliff.

  10. Hi All Not sure if this link will work but this is a video of what was supposed to be a body recovery after a vessel sank offshore Nigeria back in May of this year the video clip is doing the rounds on FB at the moment, on youtube as Jascon 4 rescue if the link doesn't work and if your interested. Certainly not an everyday event!, Sat Rat. http://youtu.be/yek41vDa4mE
  11. I use it as a means of staying in contact with the family when I'm away at work using the online chat thingy. Not fussed about the rest of it.
  12. I use the cheap large fluffy paint rollers from B&Q easy for the dog to carry the right way and also easy to attach fur or feather around.
  13. Great new and wishing you a speedy recovery!.
  14. Quality use to knock a batch of this for ourselves when I worked offshore middle east, used 25ltr plastic drums all went well, until one bright spark came up with the idea of blowing it down to 18mtr in our decompression chamber(to aid fermentation!). Well 6 hrs later 1 almighty bang (a good gas mark 10 ricther scale) 150ltrs of grape juice covered the inside of the chamber it had set like jelly so just cut chunks of the walls tasted vile but hit the spot!. the chamber was never quite the same after that as the walls had a pinkish hue and distinct aroma!!. Good Luck as you may well need it! :-()

  17. Breitling Avenger Seawolf (Titanium) is a nice looking watch I bought this over a Rolex Drawdeweller. You've just got to remember if you go for a self winding(automatic),they are not the best time keepers...!

    Helicopter

l personally think it was coming into the heliport while it was foggy and the pilot had no visual reference and became disoriented and powered down too early!,flown in countless times over the years and crashed in a couple as well but thankfully we have all made it back to talk about it in the pub.must say it's not my favourite form of travel, and my thoughts go out to the families of those who have lost their lives.
  20. Fantastic living the dream good luck for the future .
