  1. In order to obtain the best answer for this i shall spend my next week getting munted and posting on here. All in the name of science of course
  2. Usually an optical via the only two places they will fit into the two units, alternatively you can separate out the audio from the headphones socket on the tv and feed it into that auxiliary on the srs, although you will only get 'true' 5.1 using optical leads. The sky box should have the port, its a little dark red square and check you have the same on the telly.

Fair play mate, i think there will only be yes or no answers on this one. I am a definite no, drugs are illegal but still very easy to obtain. If someone wants a rifle they will get get one, law or no law. The law abiding people will be the only ones that pay

Wake up mate its just another way to squeeze tax out of something you enjoy.
  8. Leave no stone unturned! Have you tried swapping boxes with each other? Are they new boxes?
  9. Unscrew the f connectors and ensure the earth isn't touching the inner core
  10. The only difference is quality. Sky use low quality 5 or 4mm cable that is double screened but the outer shield is nickel and gives great losses, especially on long runs with connections. If you use 6mm wf100 with f connectors and barrel joints you won't get much better unless fibre optic is used. Have you got any magic eyes running on any sets?
  11. The offset of the lnb is the most common mistake, I've found a lot of sky jobs where it was installed in the incorrect position giving intermittent faults and loss of sonera channels. was the lnb changed when multiroom was installed?
  12. Welcome mate, i am from and shoot around exeter. What are you getting?
  13. Everyone makes mistakes, lets back back to the task in hand Walt hunting! Happy hunting boys!
  14. That's brilliant, bait him up and keep em coming!
  15. You could always catch a wild one and keep it as a pet for the studies
  16. Just woke up on the sofa, what the he'll happened last night? Check pockets; keys, wallet, phone, nice one
  17. Its not good news unless you paid for extended warranty, plasmas are a nightmare to fault find on and its impossible to say for sure but on plasmas it is usually the screen drivers which fail due to high demand on them, which usually cost more than the tv to replace. We had a panny in not long ago and they quoted £700 for drivers which are fixed to the screen for some stupid reason. The tv is only worth £500 when new. Your best bet is to try them direct as they won't release tech drawings.
