I have one of their leather cartridge bags. I have only had if a few months but Im very pleased with it. I got it for £25 off ebay I think they are £75ish on the John Shooter web site.

Have you tried not rubbing the skin so soft in. I have found it works better if you spray it on and leave it.

Good going! Wish I could cope with the heat. There are a few starting to get going about round me but I have to hide in the house during the day.

Aqua Sure and Storm Sure are the same thing just different brands. I have used both I just get what ever is the cheepest at the time. The black stuff used for fixing in windscreens works well on waders.

It wasn't an open wound they closed the skin after removing the bit of skull. Google skull removal for brain swelling. I don't think there is any higher risk of infection than any other surgery.

Aqua sure on the waders I would use a patch too. Aqua sure might work on the boots also. I always keep a tube in the shed very handy to have around.

I use a supermarket cool bag and some of those blue freezer blocks.

My ex boss looked like this after he had part of his skull removed to give his brain room to swell after a stroke. He did eventually get a metal plate put in to replace it. The doc gave him a tin helmet to wear before he had the plate put in. It looked like a ww2 German helmet. Not surprisingly he wouldn't wear it.

I got 250 hull super fast 29g 6s to try and at £51 they are cheaper than any thing else I can get round here. I liked them going to stick with them I think. They go through my semi nicely and I don't miss the extra gram of shot I had in the Gamebore clear pigeon.

I at the very least would have needed some clean underwear after that.

I used to work in a shooting/fishing shop and we sold these. It looks the real deal to me. The lining lables and the sholder strap things all look the same as the ones we sold. Hope this helps.

This is the other reason I have been using them. Being quite new to semis its good to know I have put it back together correctly.

I put one in my semi auto before I put it away to release pressure on firing pin spring. Should I just not bother with them?

What ever you do be careful. They are like unexploded bombs. My uncle was killed at the age of 32 opening one, it was his job to do so. He worked for a scrap yard and it was ment to be empty. First thing I new my cousin and I (Same age and school) were pulled out of class and told my mum was coming to get us. Please make sure it is empty.

Hi I have been using the plastic see through snap caps which are nice and cheep. I have noticed the brass bit the firing pin strikes is getting pretty worn. If I stick with this type of snap cap how often should I replace them? Are there better snap caps that will last longer? The closest decent shooting shop to me is a 40 mile round trip so I wouldnt mind paying a bit more for something that might save me a trip in the long run. Cheers Marc

No mate he keeps them as pets so not worried about it getting into the food chain. If you had seen some of the rubbish they eat the last thing you would worry about is the odd bit of shot. One of the kids on the farm kicked a football in the field once. Before they could retrieve it one of the pigs had eaten it. The kid who lost his ball was not happy. I on the other hand found it very amusing.
