  7. Well done , and thanks for that , I have only used a lamp at night but do find them very skittish , have thought about infra red night light but cost puts me off ,particularly as I only night shoot in reasonably warm weather nowadays ,not all year round .
  8. Depends on how much you watch via the now tv box , I usually wake in the night and either end up watching a film or catch up tv on it i.e. BBC ,ch 4 ,5 etc , it will work on most TV sets but needs a HDMI outlet on the tv set for good quality picture , don't know if its common or not but I get problems sometimes with freezing on progs. particularly I player .
  9. That's a good night , do you use some kind of hide/shelter I have found that any kind of movement even cocking the rifle has to be very careful or the scamper off even in the dark ,also was the lamp naked light or red filtered ?
  10. Rang Norman Clark and he told me he is taking a range of reloading gear but if anyone wants anything in particular its best to ring him and order for pickup at the show .
  11. http://shotgunadapter.com/ this guy is very good ordered from him last year ,takes around 10 days .
  12. Hello and I am just a few mountains away , Abergavenny , what you shooting , Rifle ,Shotgun or Airguns ?
  13. Is there a way to contact him , see what he got , i,ve not heard of him ?
  14. Ours say same - NO .22lr for fox , I know that its been done for years in traps but it has to be the correct combo at any distance and good shot placement.
  15. I would go if there was anyone doing reloading gear there ,powder ,primers and wads etc but cant find any listing .
  16. That's a good guide just typing in your gauge a1 :good:and shell
  17. Thanks I thought so but you never know what might be around , been reading of "Lanes " reloading machines too , I assume its not Lanes of Birmingham ? The machine seams to be similar to the "Lee " reloading press , are they available in UK and what calibre they do in them , would be handy for budget .410 for me , I see Lee do a .410 hand loading kit too but not found any in UK .
  18. A friend has offered me some H110 powder but cant find data on it , what gauge will it load and what primers etc ? I am ideally looking for 28 gauge loads and at a push 20 gauge which I have a few hundred cheddite hulls of . Title should have read "powder" not poder , don't know if its me or this damn keyboard !
  19. where did you buy them in Merthyr ? only shop I remember was the sports shop in town that sold shells and airguns .
  20. I had a Manuarm b/a single shot and it was proofed for 3" mag shells , only fault was how stiff the bolt was , bought mine from Arthur Bale gunsmith Cardiff in late 70,s . You can measure internal chambers with piece of wood and marker pen but don't know how easy way to do it on these , might be ok with bolt out though .
  21. Just rang " shotgunreloading uk " he is out of stock for powders expecting a delivery in about 10 days so rang FES but they only open Monday - Thursday for orders .
  22. Just looked it up and its estimated as just under three hours each way , so will try watch what you selling ,at moment looking for folding 20 or 28 gauge dbl barrel preffered . let me know if you get anything in that line , use to have a little Belgian dbl hammer gun in .410 loved it but that gauge is limited particularly in 2 1/2" chamber .
  23. If there are long periods where you don't use it in summer perhaps then they tend to gum up with the two stroke mix , try cleaning it through with neat petrol by tipping a little into the air intake of the carb .
