My printer (Stylus Photo P50) when using it, shows a message stating that the ink pad's are coming to the end of their lifespan. I read somewhere that the counter can be reset. Does anyone know how to do this please?

I just attached a keyring holder on mine.

That's what I'm using at the moment, after trying various add on NV's plus a PARD 007. I just fancy the Alpex.

Cheers Lloyd. I'm thinking of either fitting an Alpex to my .243 and leaving it on there, then using the Vulpine Mk3 on my other rifles, or, using the Alpex on all most of them. I think I'll wait until next year and decide then. Keep my updated on how the Alpex fares on your 2 rifles.

I am very pleased with the Vulpine Mk3 NV especially when used with my Solaris SRX IR. It works well on all my scopes. I may just continue to use the Vulpine on them all, but do like the look and reviews on the Alpex.

Thanks. I used to have a Pulsar N750 which was 'supposed' to be able to be used on different rifles. But if you tightened the clamps up wrong the zero was out. I'm tempted to by the Alpex and leave it on my .243, then use my Vulpine Mk3 for my other rifles.

Has anyone used the above NV scope on different rifles, ie changing it from one calibre rifle to another?

‘Bags for life’! I'm going to leave mine to a family member after I shuffle off this mortal coil!

I called into my local Morrison's store earlier this afternoon. After picking up a few items, I requested a carrier bag (as my other 20 were in the boot of my car) and paid for it together with the other items. When I got home, I checked the receipt and found that I had been charged 60p for a very thin plastic bag. Thinking that this was a mistake, I tried contacting my local store (laugh) but finally got through to customer services in Northern Ireland. When I expained why I had phoned, I was told that the price varied from store to store and region to region. The guy checked my store out and confirmed that 60p was correct. What a total RIP OFF.

To be honest, I'm not sure, and the cable is sealed in the bag that it came in. It's not designed for inserting in barrels, more for putting through the breech of a rifle/shotgun then locking the two ends. If you wanted to use it just a a breech flag, then I suppors it could work.
