  1. Selling the above case, as I've bought a new Kindle and it's bigger than my first one. Internal measurements are 115mm x 165mm / 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" ) Excellent condition. This is an original Kindle cover. Sell for £12:00 posted.
  2. It did actually swoop down on some small feeding birds (Siskins) and also, we found a few dead feral Pigeons that had been plucked and eaten.
  3. I have these for sale: https://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/429339-hn-slug-hp-mix/
  4. I photographed this bird which was flying above our hotel in Egypt. I think it's a female Kestrel (?)
  5. Just added them. The clamps are very strong and have been tested by myself to near destruction. The photo's don't the clamp justice though.
  6. The above for sale: £11:00 inc pp
  7. I have for sale 1 ltr bottles of the above. Excellent attractant for Fox. Others who have bought some can vouch for its effectiveness. A little goes a long way. Either decant some into a spray bottle or pour some onto old rags and place in an airtight plastic container, then just remove the lit in your chosen place. Selling for £11.00 Inc postage.
  8. I have just purchased a sample pack/s of the above. These are .217/5.51mm and are 21gr / 23gr / 25gr / 27gr and 30gr. If anyone is interested in trying them in their FAC air rifle, I can provide 15 of each weight. Price is £10 posted. I paid £21:00 for them.
  9. FOR SALE: The above scope. This was purchased on 19th April. It has only been mounted on my rifle and not taken outdoors. Immaculate condition. The scope has the .22 subsonic reticule. I'm selling it because I have put a red dot on my rifle (S&W 15-22) instead. The scope is under warranty but for original purchaser only. However, should the scope develop a fault (highly unlikely) I would be happy to return it on your behalf for repair/replacement. I paid £272:45 (receipt available) and I am selling for £230 including postage. LINK: https://uk.hawkeoptics.com/vantage-30-wa-sf-ir-4-16x50-rimfire-22-subsonic.html
  10. Neck resizing and dead length bullet seater dies for sale. £25:00 inc pp
  11. I've got 2 of these for sale. Very good quality and sturdy. 3D printed using Nylon with reinforced Carbon Fibre. Fitted with a helicoil insert which is far stronger than the usual 'nut' on some of them. They will fit 99% of all tripods etc inc' Primos. £45:00 posted.
  12. Yes, it was recommended to me. There's very little difference in the size of the scope, no matter what you buy. I bought the Hawke one because of the guarantee and the excellent aftersales service. Mine was bought from Bagnall and Kirkwood who, at the time, gave the best price.
  13. Yes, I have one Lloyd. It's on my S&W M+P 1522 rifle. It's excellent and allows quick shooting. It's a Model: 1x30 - 12128 and cost me £155:85 inc pp. It doesn't have a zoom lens so is virtually useless when shooting at paper targets. The red dot is very bright on it's highest setting and can be seen clearly even on a bright day. I'm going to use mine on steel gongs and homemade targets. And yes, the weaver will fit it.
  14. Just put them in damp compost and make sure that it remains that way. Rain won't cause any problems but make sure the pot/s have drainage holes. The easiest of all to grow in my opinion, are Acorns, followed by Horse Chestnuts.
  15. I did think it was a gimmick to be honest, and was pleasantly surprised that it actually works. I change my Mach 3 blade around once a month. I shave on average, 4 times a week. The bulk blades I purchased will therefore last me 24 months, after I've used the other 3 I've got.
  16. I purchased a Razor Pit, which, to be honest, I thought would be rubbish, but it actually works.
  17. I've tried them and lost a pint of blood, but agree that they are the best.
  18. There's a good offer on the Gillette website. 24 of the above blades for £30:00 inc pp It works out at £1:25 per blade which is good. I ordered some and they arrived the next day.
  19. Same here on one of my permissions. After a few shots, they fly across the valley into the forestry. Jackdaw's are not so bad though, as they don't fly so far, and come back to the decoys quickly. If you Google 'Ladder Trap dimensions', there's quite a few diagrams on there.
  20. That should be good. Hanging strips down between the rungs, stops the birds even more, if they try to fly through them. Good luck when using it. In the right place, they are very effective.
  21. The height of the ladder trap is the most important. Also, drape some thin material strips down between the ladder rungs. A mate of mine made one and all the sections were hinged to allow it to be folded smaller.
  22. Hi Vince. I've heard and seen that some area's a very bad etc. This hotel is only a few months old and has good reviews so far. We were just thinking of maybe booking a week there to see what we think about it.
  23. A very quick and easy way to dry cases is to put them in an air fryer. I add 20-30 to the basket and set the fryer on medium for approx' 3 minutes. The cases come out bone dry without an damage or discolouration.
