Bit out of my price range that one fella. Really my budget is going to be about the £100 mark.

I'm tempted by the Transcend Pro 200 as it's on offer at the moment and already comes boxed with an SD card. The only thing putting me off is that it doesn't look very discreet and might be a temptation for scumbag thieves. Ideally I don't want to be having to fit the unit everytime I get in the car and removing it when I leave the car.

I'm thinking of getting myself a dash cam after a few near misses due to idiots on the road. Done a bit of research and it's all a bit of a minefield so was wondering who on here has one and which would you recommend to me?

We ended up getting one about a month or so ago (something the wife sorted out) anyway, I ended up unplugging it and shoving it in the cupboard as it's not nice sitting there watching your money ticking away on the thing!

Yes there is a problem with some of them being underpowered due to being set for what the regulations are in Germany. You can send it back to Amex in Birmingham through your RFD and they will remove the anti-tamper and set it to around 11.6 ft/lb. I had the same problem with mine but took it to Armex myself. It was done and dusted within an hour and has been as sweet as a nut since.

I've got one but in .177 and it is absolutely superb.

For what I need I wouldn't need amy where close to a full roll so I don't want to shell out cash on something where most of it won't get used.

Just wondering if anybody has any offcuts of tint that you use for tinting car windows? I don't want to splash out on a full roll of the stuff as I wouldn't need it all and it's only to test out an idea which may or may not work.
