  1. Saw the first one in the series for the first time a couple of weeks back. I won't be watching the others in the series.
  2. Cheers! I'll invest in a couple of breech seals first of all then.
  3. Well it's got a Welsh Willy kit fitted, including a new piston seal which I fitted only last year. The thing is I fitted it and never used it as I bought a PCP and have been using that. The thing is I took the TX200 out for a play and thought it was running low. Put it through the chronograph and it was barely touching 4.0 ft/lb!! I put the original spring, top hat, guide etc back in and it's only reaching a high of 6.8 ft/lb. Now I'm left scratching my head thinking what to investigate next on it. Could it be the breach seals, compression tube seal?? Any ideas or help appreciated.
  4. Got it out...took a bit of gentle persuasion!
  5. Got the TX200 out today for the first time in several months and noticed it was shooting low on power. Over a year ago I fitted a Welsh Willy spring tuning kit to it with great success. Anyway, I disassembled it to see what might be causing the problem to find the spring is jammed in the piston and just doesn't seem to want to budge. The end of the spring that's jammed has a delrin top hat fitted and between that and the bottom of the piston is a delrin piston spacer/washer. Anyone have any ideas on how the spring can be freed from the piston? Cheers
  6. Another photo with the pit to pit measurement which is 26". Although according to the label it's an XL it's definitely more like an XXL.

Better than most of the tripe on TV but some of the people on it are a right waste of space, especially that lazy Jasmine woman!!
  8. Well had my eye test and contact lense trial this morning. Pretty fiddly to get in but I don't seem to have too much problem taking them out. Will have a look at those websites now to see how much I can save buying online.
  9. Selling my Barbour coat. It's only been worn a handful of times since I've owned it so overall it's in excellent condition. I'm looking for £65.00 posted or £60.00 collected. Can accept paypal, bank transfer or cash. If paying by PayPal buyer pays fees. Cheers.
  10. Rock climbers have unbelievable tendon strength.

  12. Cheers for the info folks. Much appreciated.
  13. I'm having an eye test this week and having a contact lense trial too. I was wondering where PW contact lense daily wearers buy their contacts online? Who would people recommend as being good on price, comfort and service? Cheers.
  14. Hi, I'm looking at applying for an FAC for .22lr and .17hmr and was hoping there may be someone on here that could help me with some mentoring. I'm 37 and have shot air rifles for several years (targets only). I have had a shotgun certificate for a couple of years (shot clays only) and I'm a fully paid up BASC member. It is looking highly likely that I will have a perm to shoot vermin on towards the end of the year, hence me wanting to apply for my FAC. I'm looking for a mentor to show me the ropes with regard to this. I will need to be able to shoot on a mentor's permission as I don't currently have land to shoot on. Rest assured I am not out to try and steal anyone's permissions that they've worked hard to get. I'm more than happy to pay for time, ammunition, grub and drink. I'm keen to learn and I believe in doing things right so looking for a mentor with a similar outlook to myself. Thanks
  15. Shooting bench arrived and I'm really pleased with it for the money. I'm soooooo glad I got one of Verminator 66's pins from him as they're a doddle compared to the spring pins that the bench is fitted with which are VERY fiddly and awkward.
  16. Tried a few and the best and most stable for me has been the Amazon Fire TV Box.
  17. Got one ordered. Used the 'Best Offer' option and got it for £70. Happy with that and should be with me next week.
  18. I'm after a silencer adaptor for my LGU. Drapers sell them for £9.99 and everywhere else they're around the £25.00 mark, which is pretty expensive for what they are. Was wondering if anyone on here had one they didn't want and was looking at selling it?
  19. I'd be interested too as I think I'm going to invest in one of these benches.
  20. You'd have to check what ft/lb it was putting out by using a chronograph. Mine was originally running low at around 9 ft/lb so got in contact with Armex. They invited me over and their gunsmith Phil removed the anti-tamper and set it to around 11.2 ft/lb. Even though I bought it second hand they were more than happy to sort my problem out and didn't charge me a penny.
