  12. Hi, 2 years ago a Mark Thomas from South Wales did my interview, on the 21st March really nice guy, didn't want a cuppa. He had my application with him, which he went through asked a few home security questions, asked the Mrs how she felt about rifles in the house, I asked for 300 rounds of .22lr and 17hmr he asked if i wanted to increase it, but i declined. He then proceeded have a look at my cabinet and try to pull it off the wall , didn't want to see the ammunition safe but did ask questions about it ( is it electronic or manual), cant remember much else, but was here about 30 mins. Ticket landed on my mat on the 12th June. Just be yourself and honest and everything will be fine I may have another as i just applied for my SGC Ade
  13. Looking at the photo now Steve, it looks like a bit of an illusion, the way the guy is holding it towards the camera.....still a big un though
  14. Not sure if anyone has seen this but I somehow don't think a .22 air rifle is going to be enough http://news.sky.com/story/1658135/giant-rat-bigger-than-a-dog-near-playground
  15. I dont I think it's just the way i worded it
  16. +1 for LL, Steve your after commission again ain't you
  17. Both my .22lr and 17hmr are for vermin and AOLQ and when I asked the FEO he said Fox is okay for HMR, but as the 22lr is for the same conditions on my ticket they both could be used then for fox And as my .22-250. Covers Fox and AOLQ So basically all my rifles could be used on from Fox to rat if needed.?
  18. There is no need to complicate things Losing weight is all about calories. 3500 calories is 1lb in terms of body weight Work out your Basic metabolic rate x your activity factor ( Google it) Then if you deduct 500 calories a day from that you will lose 1 lb per week. This is without exercise. As some people have correctly said you cannot starve yourself as the first thing your body will do is panic and try and retain everything it needs to survive......fat and water. And here is a tip If you drink a pint of ice cold water....your body will use quite a bit of calories to warm that water up to body temperature. Ade
