  1. I Maybe classed as a youngster (23) I love shooting but only get on the pigeons really in Feb.(roost shooting) and whenever I'm invited by friends on there perms/land. I'd love a permission but they're not easy to aquire. Also working a lot and other commitments reduce time in which I can go looking for one and shoot one once found. I hear there's a few shooting things on Facebook but I hate fb and will not sign up. I learn from this forum and enjoy the posts of othe members.
  2. Great write up mate, good shooting and happy hunting in the future. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Shame your not closer bud good luck with the sales.
  4. Nice work pal, glad all your travel wasn't in vein. I went out with a friend on one of his perms today and had a decoy over drilled beans, shot about 40 between us but had a laugh (well he did when I missed a sitter in the pattern). Keep it up !!
  5. Agreed fenboy I struggled to decipher the smoke signal from the other end hahaha

  10. Hi lads, used these plugs today and personally I think there pretty good for £19.99. They do seem abit small so was abit worried about one slipping into all the empty space inside my skull but they didn't. I don't have ringing ears or anything and could still hold a conversation. Thanks for your replys guys.
  11. Cents are expensive. My plugs arrived today they seem okay will be using them tomorrow so we will soon see. Cens #

  13. Cheers guys I like what I'm hearing (no pun intended haha). Well until I loose one like browningb525. Thanks for your replys
  14. Good good. I wear muffs at work sometimes and before long they start to get uncomfortable and they'd put me off shooting. Cheers emt.
  15. Hi guys took a punt and ordered a set today. Almost went for muffs but I feel more comfortable with plugs in. Just wondering how people have found these seen a couple of references to these in other hearing protection threads and people seem to get on with them. I'm not expecting them to be as good as electronic ear muffs that are £100+ but do they allow normal noise I.e. Bird noise/ conversations to be heard relatively well? Cheers all
  16. Hi meady, what's the lop of the sxs please also you have a pm. Cheers

  20. I had ago with muzzle loaders at sandringham game fair last year. I'm 23 and I'd love to have one(or more)and use on pigeons etc. My only problem is lack of permissions at the minute haha.
  21. She may just need a bit of education about the sport, gun safety, guns etc. There's a huge difference between a shotgun and an assault rifle but there both "guns". Like people said earlier it's the person using the gun that dictates how safe it is. Hope you can resolve this issue pal. Atb.
  22. I didn't enquire but they have Saturday's advertised and all my Saturday's in Feb are busy already (pigeon shooting elsewhere) much to the dismay of the misses haha.
