Had a look at a Kral .22 with scope, bag, trigger lock, and pellets - £150 all in. Any views? Stopped off and got some traps, bait boxes and poison on way home.. -

What about humanly dispatching with a blunt instrument? Just happened across an adult ratty (sluggish would imagine he had a belly full of poison from somewhere - not mine) hit him once and it was lights out. -

Calling the people of the air gun world... The inevitable has happened, rats are starting to show interest in my chicken hut and my duck house, though it has taken some months for the blighters to find them. I am asking what would be a cheap but effective air rifle to control em. Mrs G says I can't spend a fortune on one specially after buying a new shot gun a couple of months back.. Thinking of second hand about £200 ish with a scope... I am working on the argument that it could be a chrissy pressy for my boy...😉 so might be able to stretch the purse strings... If anybody as owt in the south / west yorks area cash waiting. Cheers Nige

I had a case of PF in March 2013 six weeks prior to me doing my second London Marathon - not what I wanted. I tried the rolling my foot on the tennis / golf ball but with no luck. I then turned to a sports massage and and after two half hour sessions massaging my foot and more so my calf (of the same leg...) as it was said that I calf problem was the cause, it cleared up in time for the marathon and touch wood have not had it since Best £50 I had spent... Maybe worth a try friend..

That's the one Bob, just be interested in having a look. Cheers Nige -
Does anyone know Hartcliff Hill Road, in particular the little clay ground that overlooks Stocksbridge Bypass and Langsett water? I was driving passed this afternoon and spied the tell tail green trap huts... Anyone know any details? Cheers Nige

Sorry I never got the chance to shoot Wortley

Hello Mark Sounds good, if you want some company anytime mate drop me a line and will see if I can make it. I have been asked by some lads to go to their clay shoot in Penistone, I am told it's a bit rough under foot and as I am still hobbling around from a broken fibula I haven't been able to make it just yet. They shoot every Sunday morning. Cheers Nige
