  1. Still here and looking for a new home but not the end of the world if it doesn't sell - always handy to have a semi-auto in the cabinet!
  2. No apology necessary, it’s me that missed the obvious - yes, it’s 12g!!
  3. Thanks for the kind words all. Current LOP is 14 3/4"
  4. Good condition throughout. A few minor knocks and bumps from use but immaculate inside and always kept really clean so cycles well. I don't do a lot of pigeon shooting and I've only used this as my hide gun so it's not had a lot of use - just the odd day here and there. Just had a full clean and check over at the local gunsmiths before sale. Comes with an extra sling swivel forend (seem to recall these costing a small fortune new!), sling and a Teague quarter choke. I think I've got a Beretta half choke somewhere but can't seem to find it so may or may not be included! I've inherited a couple of guns from my dad who's giving up his certificate so need a bit of space in the cabinet.28" barrel (27" from front of receiver but think that was classed at 28").£280Viewing very welcome but from a security perspective, copy of SGH to be supplied in advance please. No meeting in unlit pub car parks etc 😃 I'm based NE Derbyshire, not far from Sheffield and Chesterfield.
  5. Technically you need to be registered as a food business with your local authority to supply in the fur to AGHE or other end user. look on “giving up the game” on Facebook - good source of game and deer.
  6. Hi, Looking for the odd day on the pigeons here and there and just moved to the NW of England and wondering if anyone can recommend someone in this part of the world (Manchester based). I've shot plenty of pigeons in the past but haven't yet got any shooting contacts up here so happy to pay for the day. Many thanks, cushat
  7. Cheers for the info - will check them out!
  8. Just in process of moving to the area and have stumbled across a clay ground on MoD land on the edge on Deepcut Ranges... Just over the road from Pine Ridge Golf Club - can't find any details on line - anyone point me in the right direction?
  9. I've got a gunsmith friend who reckons he'd be out of business if everyone shot Brownings - too damn reliable for a gunsmith to make money out of repairs!!
  10. I'd doubt it, but without chrono it'd be impossible to tell. I'd be wanting to use a nice fast burning powder though otherwise there's going to be a lot of unburnt stuff getting deposited in the mod
  11. POA isn't relevant to accuracy! It's consistency that counts. Doesn't matter if the bullets shoot 3" high and 3" right of point of aim - that can be corrected with a few clicks on the scope. What's important is group size
  12. I'm confused!! You bought it at auction where it was advertised as resleeved. You therefore knew full well that it was. You sold it on and told the guy "it may have been sleeved, up to you to check it out". To be brutally honest, I'd be right pee'd off if I'd bought it from you as you deliberately withheld information. If you knew it was sleeved then why not just tell him outright rather than putting the onus on him - that's not being straight. Sold as seen and all that, but from what I can see you've not exactly been open and honest with the chap!
  13. Do you not still have copy of the PM in your private messages folder on PW? Either inbox or sent items?? edit - just checked my PM's and I've got stuff going back 3 years in there...
