  1. As Dougy said, i would check the stock screws. I once spent a week trying to zero a rifle, everytime i got it wherevi thought it was spot on, the next shot was miles off. I ended up deciding to strip the rifle, as i went to undo the stock screws noticed they were loose so tightenes them all and tried again, got it spot on and it hasnt moved since. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  2. No, gunspares.co.uk are chambers. Airgunspares.com are john knibbs.
  3. Might be worth giving these guys a shout, they seem to have a lot. enquiries@airgunspares.com
  4. Mite be worth taking the piston seal off, stand the piston, spring side up, in a bowl of boiling water for a few mins then try pulling the spring whilst holding the piston in a towel (dont wanna burn ur hands on a now red hot piston)
  5. Thanks for the offer malkiserow but already have a tbt tuning kit to fit along with the new spring.
  6. Oh, just a tad out the way. Thanks for the offer though hyflier.
  7. Try www.tacticalscope.co.uk. I bought a Nikko stirling target master 4-16x44 from nick wake plus sidewheel, its a great scope and nick is very helpful.
  8. Thanks bladerunnertoo, i shall fit it, then chrony it and see where to go from there. Out of curiosity, how many ft/lbs did it drop per amount of coils removed, just as a rough guide in case mine is over when fitted. Good to hear how smooth/great these springs are.
  9. Hi hyflier, ok thanks, i was just concerned that the spring being longer may increase the power above the legal limit. Yes, it is the correct one, purchased from t.w chambers and sons. Thanks for the offer, very kind. I am in mid cornwall, where abouts are you?
  10. Hey everyone, have just bought myself a xs titan mainspring for my hw95. I want to keep my air rifle under uk legal power so was wondering if anyone has fitted an xs titan spring to hw95 and know how many, if any, coils need to be cut off as the spring seems to be considerably longer than my current spring. Many thanks in advance for your help
  11. Hi guys and girls, i am looking for a cheap hw98 stock to fit to mount my hw95 action to. I live in cornwall but am happy to pay postage if there is a stock further afield.
  12. What about the nikko stirling targetmaster 4-16x44. It comes in either mil dot or lrx retical. Is ir as well. They are between £200 and £300 depending where u purchase it.
  13. Well, i have a goatee and where i used to work they called me 'whiskers'. Then over time that changed to 8 out of 10 because 8 out of 10 cats prefer whiskers. Nothing to do with how well i do or dont shoot, although it could be.
  14. Just pure evil little *****!! What will they do this to next? Another animal? A child? Just bring back the old fashioned punishment of tying them to a wooden post in the middle of the village/town and giving them a public flogging, then just leave them there for the rest of the week for the public to have a go.
  15. I hadnt noticed the date, oops! What a muppet! This post appeared at the top of the list when i signed in earlier so (wrongly) assumed it was a recent post.
  16. Well, im new to this forum but i would recommend a HW95 fitted with a tinbum tuning kit and spend the rest on a decent scope, i have a nikko stirling 4-16x44 lrx fitted to mine and its a great setup. Very reliable, well built and worth a look if u ask me.
  17. Hi, i have a slight problem with the hawke one piece adjustable mounts. I can adjust the elevation with no problems but as soon as you tighten the grub screw to lock the adjuster off it pushes the scope sideways and then the windage is miles out. Is this normal? Does anyone else have any experience with these mounts? Cheers
  18. I have a hw95, when i first bought it it was very twangy, bought a tinbum tuning kit and fitted it myself, no more twang, sounds sweet as a nut. They are on ebay for about £22 + postage. Item no: 252303095138
